To celebrate the 2010 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) kicking off this weekend, PokerStars is offering a 20% reload bonus up to $100. The bonus is also available in the equivalent value in Euros, British Pounds, and Canadian Dollars and you have until 23:59 ET on Saturday, September 11th to take advantage of it by using the code “WCOOP.” You can help fund your bankroll for the massive 62-event WCOOP, which wraps up on September 26th with a high-stakes $5,200 buy-in Main Event that ponies up $10 million in guaranteed prize money.

Let’s take a look at the clearance requirements for the PokerStars WCOOP reload bonus. If you deposited in U.S. Dollars, then 20 VIP Player Points (VPPs) will earn you $1 of your pending bonus. For Euros, it’s 26 VPPs per €1 (maximum bonus €75) and for British Pounds, it’s 32 VPPs per £1 (maximum bonus £65). Finally, for those you who will reload on PokerStars using Canadian Dollars, the approximate clearance rate is 20 VPPs per C$1 (maximum bonus C$100). No matter what currency you opt for, your bonus releases in increments of 10.

As a side note, you have 20 days from the time you reload to clear your PokerStars WCOOP reload bonus, so don’t delay once you finally deposit. If you ever forget how many VPPs you’ve racked up, look no further than the PokerStars Cashier.

For those members of the online poker community who may have more than one PokerStars bonus in the hopper, how does the site prioritize what your valuable VPPs are credited towards? Text found on PokerStars’ website explains, “If you’re already in the process of clearing a bonus, that bonus must expire or be cleared in full before you can begin earning another one. If none of your bonuses are partially cleared, your VPPs will be counted towards the bonus with the next expiration date.”

All you have to do is reload on the world’s largest online poker site using the bonus code “WCOOP.” The 2010 WCOOP begins on Sunday with three tournaments offering up over $5 million in combined prize money. Let me say that one more time: Over $5 million in combined prize money! The action will continue over the next three weeks, giving you plenty of chances to scoop potentially life-changing money.

Last year, PocketFives.com member Yevgeniy Jovial Gent Timoshenko was the big winner in the WCOOP Main Event, banking $1.7 million after taking down the feature tournament. Who will be next? Find out by reloading at PokerStars today.
