On the final day of November, PokerStars, the largest online poker site in the world, will host its one-billionth tournament. As expected, it’s not your run-of-the-mill tournament, as the big one-billion will come with a $2 million guarantee and at least $200,000 for first place, all for a $109 buy-in. Visit PokerStars here.

The tournament also has $200,000 in added prizes. According to PokerStars, “For the first 2.5 hours of Tourney Number One Billion, we’ll award players at randomly chosen tables a share of $200,000 in prizes. Prizes being awarded will be announced via messaging at the tables, without the need to pause the tournament, and will be paid out instantly to winners’ accounts.” Added prizes include cash, Spin and Go tickets, “Big” tickets, and Sunday Million tickets.

The billionth tournament takes place on November 30 at 13:00 Eastern Time and satellites are already running, starting at $1. To find them, just search for the word “Billion” in the Tournament Filter.

Also as part of its billionth hand celebration, PokerStars is running Milestone Golden Sit & Gos. In those, you can win a share of at least $500,000 in random added cash prizes just by playing them starting at 10:00 ET on November 17.

The site’s popular Daily Bigs will carry $2 million in increased guarantees from November 24 to 30. You can take home triple the normal prize money plus $100,000 in added prizes. The Hot, Hotter, and Hottest Tourneys will have $1 million in increased guarantees from November 24 to 30, with up to triple the normal prize money plus $100,000 in added prizes to be won.

Text on PokerStars’ website notes that all prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. So, if you win something, it’s yours.
