Lots of people are familiar with the Steps on PartyPoker, but for those who aren't, here is a brief explanation. In this particular instance, PokerStars has added steps as a way to turn $7.50 or 500 fpp's into a $12,000 PCA Package. Essentially each step is a single table SnG in which the top two finishers move on to the next step. There are a total of 6 steps, the final one being a 2 table SnG in which three $12k packages are awarded.

So what happens if you don't place in the top two for any of these steps? The good news is you're not completely out of luck. Depending on the individual step, a 3rd or 4th place finish often awards you another shot at that same step. So if you take 3rd place in step five, instead of having to start all over again, you get another shot at step five in a new SnG.

This is a great way for players with a small bankroll to take a shot at winning a huge package. For those with a bigger bankroll, it is possible to buy-in to any step directly. I would like to commend PokerStars on their continued efforts in pleasing their customers. It is truly remarkable.
