The massive qualifier comes with a price tag of $370 and will award $12,000 WSOP Main Event prize packages. Satellites are also available if $370 is a bit out of your budget. Players will begin with 3,000 in starting chips and blind levels will run for 15 minutes.To sign up, open the USA-friendly online poker site’s client and navigate to “Events” and “WSOP.” The Tournament ID is 300000000 and promises to be a lucrative one for many members of the PokerStars community. The PokerStars prize package includes the WSOP Main Event’s $10,000 buy-in, $1,000 to use for travel and other expenses, and eight nights’ accommodation at the luxurious Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, worth $1,000.
The Palms is located right across Flamingo Boulevard from the Rio (pictured) and PokerStars is even offering a free shuttle bus for qualifiers who don’t want to make the hike. That’s not all the winners of PokerStars prize packages will receive. Anyone who qualifies through the world’s largest online poker room and cashes in the Main Event will receive a PokerStars Caribbean Adventure or North American Poker Tour (NAPT) prize package. Qualifiers who don PokerStars gear during poker’s version of the Super Bowl will also be eligible to receive 50,000 VIP Player Points (VPPs), which will be credited in January.PokerStars is awarding a Main Event Champion Bonus of $1 million, which will be split between cash and tournament credits for online and offline events.
