Report: Could PokerStars Have Bought the New Orleans Saints?

On September 7, Poland's Barry86 came away with the win in the 888 Poker Mega Deep for $35,000. The $215 buy-in poker tournament attracted 765 entrants and Barry86 defeated a final table consisting of four other PocketFivers. Day 1C Attracts Largest WSOP Main Event Starting Flight Ever

All three starting days of the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event are in the books. In late May, Lionet, whose real name is Bogdan Diaconu (pictured), won the PokerStars Sunday Million for $203,000. No chop took place and Diaconu defeated a final table that had four other PocketFives members at it. He is up to $1.1 million in online MTT scores and told us, "I'm feeling quite good at the moment." DaPHUNNIEman Fourth in WSOP Main Event After Day 2AB

PocketFives Rankings Update: gosuoposum1 Up 24 Spots to #25

One of the biggest jumps inside the top 100 of the PocketFives Online Poker Rankings this week went to Ukraine's gosuoposum1, who rocketed from #49 to #25, or 24 spots. The reason was simple: a win in the PokerStars Sunday 500 for $54,000 over the weekend, which was good for 536 PLB Points. He is up to 240 wins in online MTTs and has $3.6 million in winnings.

Ronnie Bardah Looking for Record Fifth Straight WSOP Main Event Cash

We're just short of the money at the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event, which is entering Day 4 on Friday.
