The one constant with the PocketFives Rankings the past 10 weeks has been the name at the top and the frequency at which the name in the #2 spot has changed.

Sweden’s ‘C Darwin2’ has been #1 since July 6 and since then a handful of players have occupied the spot right behind him. For the third week in a row the player sitting second has changed with another Swede, ‘lena900’, moving up from #4 last week.

Over the last seven days ‘C Darwin2’ cashed 33 times but only a runner-up finish in the PokerStars Hot $215 earned enough points to impact his PLB score. The second place result earned him $18,593 and 256.2 points to give him a total of 7,833.73.

Meanwhile ‘lena900’ had a milestone setting week. With 35 total cashes for $91,849 in earnings, the former #1-ranked player surpassed the $5 million lifetime earnings mark. Four of those cashes were big enough for ‘lena900’ to add to his PLB score. He started the week with a second place finish in the partypoker High Roller for $25,900 and 283.77 points and the next day finished fourth in a World Championship of Online Poker event for $17,322 and 216.97 points. He also finished second in the $215 buy-in PokerStars Weekender for $13,930 and 215.81 points before wrapping up the week with a third place finish in the PokerStars Hot $109 for $7,967 and 157.15 points.

He’s now 275.23 points behind ‘C Darwin2’ and is the fourth player to find themselves sitting second since his reign began.

To get to #2, ‘lena900’ leapfrogged the two Brazilians who sat #2 and #3 last week. Joao ‘joaosimaobh’ Simao and Joao Mathias ‘joaomathias’ Baumgarten each dropped one spot to #2 and #3 respectively this week. Simao only had one cash big enough to earn him PLB points to add to his total this week, but it was a big one. Simao finished first in the $320 Six Max No Limit Hold’em event on PokerStars on Monday. He earned $8,501 and added 201.25 PLB points to his total.

Baumgarten had two scores bookend his week of play that added to his PLB score. He opened the week by bubbling the final table of WCOOP event 14 for $4,026 in cash and 184.04 points. He closed the week with a third place finish in the $215 Fat Tuesday on PokerStars for $15,229 and 204.96. He now has 7,450.46 points and is just 383.27 points behind ‘C Darwin2’.

Despite cashing 33 times this past week, Alex ‘alexd2’ Dimitrov only had one good enough to help his PLB score. The top ranked player in Bulgaria finished eighth in WCOOP Event #27, $215 Sunday Warm-up Special Edition. That finish earned $17,703 and 368.23 points, his fifth biggest points haul ever.

There were two players – both Swedes – who moved up in to the top 10. Jonatan ‘Pot4teUS’ Hellman jumped from #12 to #7 on the backs of three qualifying cashes while Andreas ‘r4ndomr4gs’ Berggren jumped from #11 to #10. There are a total of five Swedish players ranked in the top with #9-ranked Johannes ‘Greenstone25’ Korsar rounding out the group.

Dropping out of the top 10 were Artem ‘veeea’ Vezhenkov and Jimmy ‘JMolloy’ Molloy.
