The last month has been full of movement for P0KERPR033 (pictured right), as he has gone as high as the first place ranking and also fallen out of the top two. In this week’s rankings update, he has regained his second place status, fresh off a successful two week run that included an UltimateBet win in their $75k Guaranteed. He had a big day on Monday, making two final tables on UB including a 2nd place in their $13k Guaranteed. While playing on Sunday, he picked up a 3rd place finish on Full Tilt’s Sunday Mulligan for close to $17k. <READMORE>Maintaining his momentum throughout the month of July, M8kingMoves has jumped up another spot to take the 4th ranking this week. Batista won yet another major tournament last week when he took down Full Tilt’s 1k Monday for more than $81k. This win put him almost 1000 PLB points above the closest competitor for the month of July and ensured his championship. He also went far in Full Tilt’s $55k Guaranteed on Sunday, taking 3rd place and $9k. He accumulated 3412 PLB points in July, and his total cashes exceeded $390k.
THE__D__RY made his way into the top 10 this week, jumping from 12th to 8th. He has followed his 2nd place finish in the Full Tilt $500k Guaranteed two Sundays ago very strongly, making two final tables last Sunday on Stars. These 3rd and 9th place finishes gave him $9.5k. All of this success has caught the eyes of the pros, as they now have him sitting 9th in the Pro Poll.
Aaron “gotcha55” Kanter (pictured upper right) and THAY3R (pictured left) each climbed two this week, resting at the 18th and 19th rankings. Kanter cashed five times last week, including 4 cashes on Sunday between Full Tilt and Stars for over $7k. THAY3R had similar totals last week with five cashes and a 2nd place in a Bodog $40k. Dabears87 went up three spots this week as well, winning a Stars $100 for over $17k. He looks to move up even more in next week’s rankings, as he has already won a Stars $50 Rebuy this week.
Triple Crown winner mattg1983 went another four spots up this week, leaving him just barely outside of the top 20. Matt won a Stars $50 Rebuy last Saturday for more than $15k and final tabled Full Tilt’s Turbo Hundo. PocketFives Mod apestyles (pictured right w/ pbdrunks) went from 35th to 29th this week after cashing seven times. His seven cashes included wins in a $50 buy in and $100 Rebuy on Stars for over $27k. He also took 2nd in a Bodog $10k Guaranteed on the same day as his $100 Rebuy win, which was worth an extra $1.5k.Moving up at least 11 spots each were allinstevie, djk123, and brynkenneyps1. Allinstevie cashed 11 times last week and had a $54k win in the Stars Second Chance and a 4th in their $100 Rebuy for another $13k. Djk123 finished the month on July in 2nd place on the Monthly PLB and cashed six times last week. He managed to dominate Stars, taking a 1st and 3rd in their $100 Rebuy and a cash in their Sunday Million, for more than $34k in cashes for the week. Brynkenneyps1 is now at the 79th spot after only his second week in the top 100, and he cashed for $11k last week.
Eight P5ers jumped into the pool of competition that is the top 100 this week. Taking the biggest leap was SowersUNCC, who won a Stars $100 Rebuy for over $41k and placed 3rd in another for $9k. Also leaping back in was number1pen, who cashed six times on Stars last week and took more than $7k in a $100 Rebuy and $23k in a 3rd place finish in their $150k. Basebaldy (pictured left) is back in the top 100 this week after winning a Stars $25k Guaranteed for close to $18k. Hafizzle also won a Stars $100 Rebuy and placed 3rd the day afterwards in another last week for more than $30k.The-Toilet flushed his way into the 94th ranking after final tabling a Bodog $40k, while rkruok sits at 95th taking down a Heads Up tournament on Stars for close to $14k. JBDenaro157 went far in the Sunday Million last week, making $8k for his 15th place finish, and he also took 30th in their Second Chance. Nutstr84444 came in this week 99th with six cashes and a 5th place showing in another Stars $100 Rebuy, adding $10k to his wallet.
