This week's P5's Rankings update features an important four-spot jump in the rankings by Johan busto_soon van Til of The Netherlands. After winning the Full Tilt Poker $90k Guaranteed tournament in mid May for over $36k, he has climbed to #13 in the world at online tournament play. This former PocketFives.com Triple Crown winner also has a 2nd place finish in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up in 2008. P5'er "shaundeeb" moved up one spot this week to #8, as he continues to effectively combine top-notch skill and high volume to prove he remains among the world's elite online tournament players.

"The_Hunt_D" was unranked just a few months ago, but has moved all the way up to #17. His 2nd place finish in the FTOPS $1k Event for $155,000 last year helped his case, along with March '08 victories in the PokerStars $100 and $200 rebuy tournaments for a combined total of nearly $76k. Nick "fu_15" Maimone is up two to #19 this week after putting up more impressive results in May. Nick won the PokerStars $100 and $200 rebuy tournaments in May for well over $100k in earnings. Andy "BKiCe" Seth, recent graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana, moves up five to #21, and Brian "SN8WMAN" Hawkins is up five to #22.

Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin has been on top of the world lately; winning two Bodog $100k Sunday major tournaments outright in the month of May for $23,600 each. Former back-to-back Sunday major tournament victor Greg "DuckU" Hobson is up 17 to #33 this week after taking down the Full Tilt $100 cubed tournament (one rebuy + one addon).

David "Bakes" Baker of Michigan is up 21 to #35 after taking 2nd in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up a week ago for $53,800, and "FishOnTilt" moves up 23 to #40 following his outright victory in the Full Tilt $40k Guaranteed. "Akat11" had an extremely impressive month of April; winning the PokerStars Nightly Hundred Grand and $100 rebuy tournaments, along with the Full Tilt $65k Guaranteed all within a week. He continues to enjoy the benefit of those scores, and moves up 16 to #44 this week. Former Magic: The Gathering professional "t soprano" is up 21 to #49 after taking down the Full Tilt $65k Guaranteed and PokerStars $50 rebuy tournaments in May.

Perhaps the biggest story of the week, T.J. "DoubleS00ted" Slifka of Nevada won his third Sunday major tournament within a seven-month period upon taking down the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed last Sunday. He's up 27 to #55, and "ender555" is up 18 to #56. Matt "mattg1983" Graham moves up 16 to #59, and "MarCasino" is up 19 to #60. Eric "Rizen" Lynch took down the UltimateBet $40k Guaranteed Sniper tournament in May, and moves up 17 to #70 this week. Australia's "Kochan" is up 11 to #75 after placing 2nd in the PokerStars $100 rebuy, and "fergwrx" moves up 15 to #81.

Sweden's "Telefonkiosk" took down the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up a week ago, and finds himself currently ranked #83 in the world. "Patrolman35" is up 10 to #84, while Matt "Plattsburgh" Vengrin continues to earn the respect of his peers by putting up big-time results in major online tournaments. Matt's recent 2nd place finish in the Full Tilt $750k Guaranteed was worth more than $80k and has him ranked #87. Also new to this week's rankings are Jeremy "Chipsteela" Menard at #97, Joshua "bbbbb33" Weizer at #98, "Kenny Rap" at #99, and Frank "gator93" Hernandez at #100.
