So what does it take to crack the top ten? Well, here's one suggestion: get close, then win over $100k in one day. It's a proven method; just ask rdcrsn (pictured). Last sunday he took 2nd in the PokerStars Sunday Second Chance for $26,579 and 3rd in the FullTilt $1 Million Guarantee for $82,986. This added some serious fuel to his fire, hurling him into 10th place and leaving his previous ranking of 14th in the rearview mirror. <READMORE>

In the top 20, moorman1 and gboro780 (pictured left) both advanced three spots, placing them in 13th and 17th respectively. Moorman1 did so behind three final tables and a big win in the FullTilt $50,000 Guarantee for $21,960. Gboro made two final tables, taking 2nd in the PokerStars $20,000 Guaranteed and 7th in the PokerStars $215 Rebuy for a total of $13,674.

Moving on to the top 50, scarface_79 and Bakes (pictured right) were able to move up substantially. Scarface_79 gained a lot of ground after securing two more 5-figure scores. He took 2nd in the PokerStars $55 Rebuy for $10,536 and 1st in the FullTilt Sunday Mulligan for $40,749. His new ranking is 37th (previously 46th). Bakes moved up ten and into 49th after winning a huge PokerStars $109 Rebuy for $40,750.

In the second half of the rankings, five players are trying (with success) to trampoline their way up the leaderboard. Sketchy1 (pictured left) improved his status by a staggering 27 places. He won the FullTilt $55,000 Guarantee for $20,888 and finished 3rd in the PokerStars Super Tuesday for $33,578. He is now 55th. Basebaldy went from 76th to 62nd. He made two final tables, including a win in the FullTilt Fifty-Fifty for $9,689. USCphildo made four final tables, the biggest of which was a 2nd place finish in a PokerStars $109 Rebuy for $13,100. His new ranking is 66th, fourteen better than last week.

The final two players improving in the top 100 are Cdbr3799 (pictured right) and Charder. Cdbr won the PokerStars $25,000 Guaranteed for $20,950 and is now ranked 75th (previously 87th). Charder picked up 11 spots after winning three tournaments and final tabling five others. He won the FullTilt $16,000 Guarantee, the FullTilt $20,000 Guarantee, and the PokerStars $22 Rebuy. All in all, his week was worth over $32k.

New to the rankings are ElMastermind (73rd), THEDONATOR (89th), and Anbessa (90th). ElMastermind came screaming into the rankings after winning the FullTilt Sunday Brawl for $64,930 AND the PokerStars $215 Rebuy for $46,485. THEDONATOR won the FullTilt $1k Monday for $93,260, and Anbessa took 2nd in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $52,948.

A very exciting week in the rankings to say the least. Check back next time for all the updates and action on PocketFives.com Online Tournament Player Rankings. </READMORE>
