Rankings Update: Shaniac Returns to Top 100[ return to main articles page ]

This week's P5s Rankings update features former top 10 online tournament player Shane shaniac Schleger (pictured), who returns to the top 100 this week following an impressive month of October in which he won the PokerStars $200 Sunday rebuy for $51k after taking 4th in the Full Tilt Poker $1 Million Guaranteed tournament for $59k a week earlier. This was Shane's second $200 Sunday rebuy victory in as many months, and he is now ranked #87 worldwide at online poker tournament play. Former #1 shaundeeb is up one spot to #3 this week while Triple Crown winner eisenhower1 of Sweden moves up one to #10.

PokerStars WCOOP Main Event champion Carter ckingusc King is up two to #14 this week, followed by David Bakes Baker (pictured) who is up five to #22 thanks to his win in the Stars "Sunday 500" earlier this month. SEABEAST of Australia won the Triple Crown a few days ago and climbs five to #33. Chris SLOPPYKLOD Klodnicki is up six to #35, Sunday Million winner govshark2 is up five to #43, and THAY3R ascends 12 spots to #44 upon taking down the Full Tilt $35k Guaranteed a few days ago. Gutshtallin is up 16 to #46 thanks to winning the Sunday Warm-Up for $99k over the weekend as Aussie Steve stevoL Leonard moves up five to #48.

Michnak is up 12 to #65, and chicagocards1 moves up 19 to #67 after final tabling the PokerStars Sunday Million a week ago. Kenny Hixx Hicks won the Bodog $100k Guaranteed for $23,600 over the weekend, and is up 22 spots to #69 while brainwash climbs 14 to #75. Jeremiah Believer82 Vinsant took 5th in the Full Tilt $750k Guaranteed on Sunday for $31k and jumps 14 to #79 accordingly. The Universe and JasonGray return to the rankings this week at #89 and #94 respectively. Mike rusostreet Caruso is now ranked #95 worldwide after taking 2nd place in the Stars "Sunday 500" for $67,600 and stpauli111 is new at #96.
