This week's PocketFives.com Online Tournament Rankings update features huge jumps by several players in the Top 100, led by former PocketFives.com Podcast Guest Brian "SN8WMAN" Hawkins (right), whose outright victory in the PokerStars Quarterly Million Tournament ($500+30 buyin) on January 27th catapulted him back into the rankings at #58. Brian's online score is one of the largest ever for a PocketFiver, and readers can listen to his Podcast interview from December by visiting the Russ "rdcrsn" Carson (below-left) moved up another notch this week into the #8 spot as he continues to show signs of online tournament dominance. PocketFiver "moorman1" cracked the Top 10 this week after reaching two final tables on FullTiltPoker and one on Pokerstars.
Team Mhrep representative Daniel "djk123" Kelly continued his streak through the Top 20, this time landing at #15 after another impressive week. Daniel has been moving up in the PocketFives.com Leader Board, ranking among the most consistent players.Top online tournament players Garrett "GBecks" Beckman and Darren "dabadestchic" Nelson both made major moves in the Top 20 this week by moving up two spots and three spots respectively. "GBecks" is currently ranked #19 in the world at online tournament play, after making a name for himself by winning the FullTilt Online Poker Series Event #5 in August of last year.
Online tournament grinder "THAY3R" made a move towards the Top 20 as well, ending this week at #22. Right behind him were "goodvibe" and Jeremiah "Believer82" Vinsant, who came in at #25 and #30. Long-time forum poster "Bill Ivey" moved all the way up to #32 this week and has already earned three 5-figure scores this year, including a 4th Place finish in the FullTiltPoker $1k for $34,500. "SLOPPYKLOD" also made a nice move in the rankings this week and is currently at #35 while "ElMastermind" moved up a whopping 15 spots on the heels of his victory in the PokerStars weekly $215 rebuy tournament last month for $46,500.
PocketFives.com Forum Moderator "Anbessa" picked up a huge boost this week, moving into the #59 spot while professional poker player Ryan "Gotskillz" Fisler (right) approached the 5,000 point mark for PLB Score and is currently ranked #60 in the world at online tournament play.
