What’s up all? This will be my last article for pocketfives.com so if anyone who opens this up would take a minute to read it, I would greatly appreciate it. As a lot of my friends have noticed, I haven’t been playing all that much lately. Ever since I started my full time job about ten months ago, my playing time has slowly declined month by month. Well as my playing time has decreased so has the accuracy of my decisions and my “in the money” percentage. <READMORE>
About 18 months ago when I was still in college and had all the free time in the world, all I did was play poker and finished strong in tournaments regularly. I finished in the top of so many tournaments for a certain time period that I was asked by Adam to write some articles about my playing style for his new website. As far as that goes, I will be the first one to admit that I am not the same player now as I was in college. I am not as sharp as I once was and cannot afford a bad losing streak like I used to be able to. Because of my lack of play over the past few months, I don’t really feel as though I am the proper representative for this site anymore.
I just want to say a special thanks to Adam, Cal, and Riley for asking me to write for their website and the countless number of friends I have made through online poker. My trip to Las Vegas a few months ago was absolutely awesome when I had the chance of meeting and hanging out with all of the people I was chatting with on a daily basis. It was truly a trip that I don’t know if I will ever forget.
To all my online poker friends, don’t take this as my resignation completely from the game of poker. I just feel that there are countless other players out there right now that are a better fit to write for this site than me. I’ll still see everyone around and cheer all of my friends on the same as they do for me when I am doing well. Thanks for everyone giving article suggestions, comments, feedback and overall support. It has been a lot of fun. I’ll see you around the felt!!
