The month of July has been mighty kind to longtime Australian PocketFiver The Spewtard(pictured), who goes by Dominic in the real world. He has taken down seven tournaments in the 19-day-old month a laid claim to two PocketFives Triple Crowns. If you’re not familiar with the Triple Crown, it’s given to anyone who can win three $10,000 prize pool tournaments across three sites tracked for the PocketFives Poker Rankings in the same seven-day period.

His first Triple Crown started on July 2, when Dominic won the Wednesday Eighty Grand and $109 No Limit Hold’em Turbo, both on PokerStars, for a combined $25,000. The former, which was officially worth 323 PLB Points, counted for the opening leg of his first Triple Crown.

Four days later, Dominic won the 888 Poker Sunday Challenge, a $100,000 guaranteed tournament, for $21,000. The Sunday Challenge is 888’s weekly Major and carries a $90 buy-in with one rebuy.

For his final trick, Dominic won the $31 Rebuy on the iPoker Network, a €10,000 guaranteed tournament, for $3,700. His first Triple Crown was good for 770 PLB Points.

He didn’t stop there. Instead, the Aussie won the PokerStars $55 No Limit Hold’em Turbo 2X Chance for $4,800 on July 10. Three days later, his success on 888 continued with a victory in the Turbo Mega Deep for $12,000 and another 222 PLB Points.

Finally, on July 15, he corralled his second Triple Crown of July, at that point just halfway over, with a win in the Full Tilt Poker Benjamin. His second Triple Crown was worth 504 PLB Points. He has now won four Triple Crowns in total and passed $2 million in online MTT scores on July 4.

Given his throng of wins, Dominic is in third place in the PocketFives Monthly PLB racefor July at 2,264 PLB Points, 300 off the lead, which UK poker player makkapakk owns. Dominic is up to #49 worldwide on PocketFives, his highest ranking ever, and is #1 in Australia.
