The 2015 World Series Main Event starts in just one day. In the meantime, there is plenty of excitement going on during Independence Day over at the Rio Hotel and Casino.

The WSOP Event #67: $10,000 Dealers Choice Championship kicked off yesterday with 108 entrants ponying up the Main Event sized buy-in. This event is easily one of the more difficult ones on the schedule, since players need to be proficient or at least have a basic understanding of many different types of games since they never know what you might be playing next.

Heading into Day 2, Matthew Ashton is currently on top of the 61 remaining players with 152,700 chips. Not too far behind is Yehuda Buchalter in second place with 138,150 chips and George Danzer with 106,825 chips.

Stephen stevie444 Chidwick(pictured) leads all PocketFivers with 101,875 chips, good enough for fourth place overall. Other PocketFivers in the mix include Shawn buck21 Buchanan(9th place – 81,175 chips), Shaun shaundeeb Deeb(21st place – 59,875 chips), Mike GoLeafsGoEh Leah(23rd place – 59,000 chips), and Paul paulgees81 Volpe (24th place – 57,100 chips).

Players will be back on the felts at 2:00 pm local time to compete for the bracelet and the $319,792 top prize. Here is a look at the top ten heading into the second day of action:

In other news, the WSOP online bracelet event will resume after a day off with the final six players gunning it out for a chance to become the first online bracelet winner along with a top prize of over $197,000.

Many PocketFivers were among the 905 entrants, and perhaps no surprise to some, two-thirds of the final table is represented by members of PocketFives.

Craig imgrinding Varnellwill start the day with 2,572,767 chips which will put him in the chip leader. He is closely followed by Anthony holdplz Spinella(pictured) in second place with just over two million chips and Ryan HITTHEPANDA Franklinin third place with just over 1.8 million in chips. David lolcats Tuthill is also in the mix, although has some work to do sitting in sixth place with close to 500,000 chips.
