The end of February was pretty lucrative for Audrius Miliauskas (pictured), who goes by Davydenko123on PocketFives. On the 22nd, he won the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuyafter a four-way chop and put away $42,000. Two days later, he finished fourth in the site’s Super Tuesday for another $45,000. It was a pretty profitable way to end the shortest month of the year.

“I feel very good and gained more self-confidence,” Miliauskas told us after his Sunday $100 Rebuy win. “The tournament went smoothly and I won the important flips. At the final table, I did not have any fears, which helped me win.” He made three rebuys during the course of the tournament, chopped for $38,000, and took home another $4,000 after finishing in first place for a total of $42,000.

When asked if he was still content with the deal, Miliauskas was mixed. “I wasn’t that happy with it because I had a big chip lead, but it’s a safer way to end a tournament,” he said. “I have a family and we really want to buy our own house. Now, we live in a flat.” He lives in Lithuania and is searching for a place with a big yard where his two kids can play,

Speaking of his kids, he has a three-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter. They’re definitely in good hands, as in addition to playing poker, Miliauskas teaches math at a local school. He explained, “It’s not really hard for me to find time to play poker because our kids are really good and calm. So, I play poker, have a job, and like to play sports when I have free time.”

His largest online poker score came two years ago following a second place finish in the Sunday Warm-Up for $73,000. Just a few days after his Super Tuesday score, he won the PokerStars Saturday Super Knockout for $31,000, his fourth largest score to date and his second time winning that tournament. He’s now at 66 tracked online tournament wins all-time.

His poker career began when he was a student. He liked to gamble on sports, but wasn’t successful. He said, “My younger brother showed me an interesting game called poker and it charmed me immediately because you not only need luck, but also skill.” His skill has allowed him to amass $1 million in online tournament winnings, mainly on PokerStars.

Despite his success, you won’t see him fleeing his teaching gig for cards any time soon. Right now, he teaches math three days a week for “a decent salary, so it’s safer for my family. I would play poker full-time if I didn’t have a family, but with them, I cannot risk it.”

Miliauskas is at #210 worldwide in the PocketFives Rankings, 62 spots off his all-time high set last year, and is #4 in the Lithuania poker community. He has been a member of PocketFives since 2013.
