As long as I'm consistently winning I can play the same game forever, but a little rough patch after I've been grinding the same games for a few months can really get to me. My results weren't fantastic for the first few days, but since I went back and skimmed through what Ray Zee and Todd Brunson had to say on the game I realised I actually wasn't playing it all that well. It had just been too long since I had played and the game is tough to pick up instinctively for me. A quick refresher course did me a lot of good, and I'm back on a winning track.

The old bankroll was getting thin from my putting in too much time on other projects, so I've been playing as much as possible the last few days and probably will be playing as much as possible until next weekend when I head off for a few days on a road trip.

I have gotten confirmation from NSXT2 and Beanie that they are both up for helping with our Pathways article on tournament play, and Gotskillz seems up for helping us out with the alternate games article. It's nice to have the RPT guys helping out with these articles, and it helps reassure everyone that poker coaching sites don't need to be competitive. We can all get along, and if we're working together we can give people some pretty awesome insight into the game.

I'm back to propping as well. The site that I prop for (and refer props to) just increased their pay to props, and there are some end of the month bonuses that I can't pass up. A few members of my site have started propping as well, and it seems to be going well for everyone so far. If you ever want a steady paycheck playing poker propping is really the only way to go, and even with a paycheck to back you up every week, the ups and downs of two tables of shorthanded limit hold em can be a bit much.

Thanks to everyone for all the emails about the first pathways article. I'm hoping that we can get seven or eight articles out of the series and maybe get them their own seperate area here on pocketfives.
