Over the weekend for Week 14 of the NFL season, DraftKingsran a special $3 buy-in NFL Millionaire Maker that literally drew a million entries and offered up a top prize of $1 million. In the end, TheBrewstertook it down with 242.88 points, beating out sylbester, who took second place, by a scant 1.7 points.

This was one of the few times we’ve seen a winning DraftKings Millionaire Maker lineup feature a wide receiver in the flex spot:

QB Russell Wilson – 32.28 points
RB Isaiah Crowell – 31.4 points
RB Eddie Lacy – 24.8 points
WR Doug Baldwin – 32.2 points
WR Odell Beckham – 38.6 points
WR Brandon Marshall – 27.5 points
TE Julius Thomas – 16.4 points
FLEX Alshon Jeffrey – 25.7 points
DEF Kansas City – 14 points

The separator here was Isaiah Crowell, who was a scant 0.3% owned and destroyed a San Francisco defense that tends to get lit up on the road. Crowell hadn’t scored a rushing touchdown since Week 2, but scored twice in Week 14 and posted 145 yards rushing.

TheBrewster also exploited the red-hot Seattle Seahawks, as Russell Wilson threw for five touchdowns, three of which went to Doug Baldwin, who had a 6-82-3 stat line against Baltimore. Seattle plays at home against the lowly Cleveland Browns in Week 15.

Eddie Lacy rebounded from being benched to put up 124 rushing yards and a score. His disastrous Week 13 in prime time led to a scant 5% ownership level this week.

Odell Beckham and Baldwin were both chalk plays. Beckham had a 7-166-2 stat line on Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins and Brent Grimes. Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey, formerly teammates, both went over 100 yards, had exactly six catches, and scored. Julius Thomas scored for the fourth straight week.
