The second Sunday of 2008 was a great one for one important member of this community. Long time P5er and 2007 WSOP reporter Jonathan Wein had a weekend worth talking about, the biggest of his budding poker career. The signature win came in the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed, where he took the top prize of over $47k. At the same time, he was finishing off a $30k score in the Full Tilt Sunday Knockout, where he took 3rd.

Wein had some tough competition in his UB win, including four other P5ers at the final table. TABMD finished fourth, while sonofa_nh, sideshowgil, and jeffbeesdat also made it to the stretch run.

Meanwhile on Full Tilt, the usual majors that are covered in this report saw several of our own do well. Tim0thee (left) was the 2nd place finisher in the $750k Guaranteed, receiving a $91k prize. Imustcall was next for about $60k, and P5s Moderator Utterczar took 5th for $35k.

The PartyPoker $300k Guaranteed final table was full of P5ers this week, showing how much the user base of this site has grown outside the U.S. Telefonkiosk is no stranger to success, as he's already the third ranked player in Sweden, and this week he took 3rd for just under $24k. Stevie444 took 6th place, which puts him almost exactly even with moorman1 for the top spot in the U.K. Pablito_21 and mmcessa were the other P5ers at the final table, finishing 8th and 9th respectively.

Rizen didn't waste much time after his cash in the PokerStars Carribean Adventure, as he made it all the way to heads up play in the Bodog $100k Guaranteed. FLEXnash, one of the big names of 2006, took 3rd place, and in 8th was fergwrx, who keeps making headlines in the big tourneys.

Over on Stars, P0KERPR033 (right)won the $200 rebuy yet again. He bested siphon3511, BluffMag, All in At 420, gboro780, and miamihans, all of whom made the final table. Also on Stars, Damage1 and THUGer managed to each get into the top four of the Sunday Warm Up, with Damage1 making it to heads up play before finally falling. NDGrinder59 pulled off a 6th place finish in the Million, and CASHRUS made yet another Sunday Million final table as well, finishing 9th.

The Second Chance on Stars went well for several P5ers, as 3rd-8th places were all occupied by our members. ForRealDD, FrozenVeins, Harris, tvcsa, Arvid, and fsoyars were our members who made it deep in this $200k Guaranteed event. The second chance on Full Tilt, known as the Sunday Mulligan, didn't have quite as many P5ers, but we still got to see jordankickz, basspoet, and GhettoFabolous make the final group.
