The weekend tournaments were exciting as always, with loads of cash being paid out to the winners of the biggest tournaments on all four major sites.

PocketFives.com blogger jsup came very close to the top prize on UltimateBet, finishing 7th and winning just under 2 grand for his efforts. A key hand that propelled jsup to the final table was won against another highly ranked player, gator93. The flop came A Q x and gator93 bet out about the size of the pot. Jsup then raised all in and after going into the tank, gator93 folded, showing AJ. Jsup flashed his AQ as a sign of respect, and used his rejuvenateved 50k stack to push into the final table.

Westtexasman, PocketFives.com third ranked player, finished 5th in the $250,000 guaranteed tournament at Party, and won 13.5k for his efforts. Fourth-ranked P0ker H0 was the runner-up in the UltimateBet $500 tournament, netting over 8k. Not a bad day's work for the Top 5.
