The Paradise Masters V has begun, and t soprano is off to a great start in it, reaching the final table of both the first two events. He placed 9th in both the $500 freezeout and the $200 R&A. DoubleLucky took 2nd in the $500 event, which paid just over $40k, and DannyOhBoy and Roothlus were also at the final table, finishing 5th and 7th respectively.

On Bodog, ari and gator93 took 3rd and 4th place in the $100k guaranteed, which still, after about a year in existance as a tournament, has never had less than a 10% overlay. This week, the overlay made up about 29% of the prizepool.

As usual, a number of P5ers went deep in the UltimateBet Sunday tournaments. In the $100k guaranteed $500 entry, thedonator, Apathy, picola76, BeL0WaB0Ve, Haligon, and SailorLobell were all at the final table, finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 9th respectively. In the nighttime $125k guaranteed, jeffbeesdat even chopped 1st/2nd places, valek finished 5th, and Johnny 53 took 8th.

One other P5er to pick up a nice win on the weekend was TheMasterJ33, who took 3rd in the $200k guaranteed on Full Tilt, which is now a weekly guarantee!
