This past Sunday saw two PocketFivers earn six-figure paydays for 2nd place finishes in major tournaments. Top 10 ranked online tournament player Alex AJKHoosier1 Kamberis (pictured) took 2nd place in the Full Tilt Poker $1 Million Guaranteed for nearly $135,000 after suffering a brutal river card bad beat when his flush was defeated by a full house. Alex now moves into the Top 5 PLB Standings with over 6,400 points and could move up in the rankings if his strong Pro Poll numbers are maintained. In an exclusive interview with PocketFives.com following his largest career online cash, Alex said "I can't explain the combination of feelings between essentially being one card away from victory and having my biggest score ever. It's so bittersweet." Shantaram of France finished 2nd in the PokerStars Sunday Million for $141,700; immediately earning a spot among France's top ranked online tournament players.

Three P5'ers won major tournaments on Sunday. Sweden's eisenhower1 won the Stars Sunday Warm-Up for $97,500; edging out fellow member seberek, who collected close to $70k for 2nd place. Hanji took 3rd for $45,700 in that same tournament. Jason JCarver Somerville (pictured) won the Stars Sunday Second Chance for $57.8k after winning a heads-up battle with CapTinBisKuit. Long-time P5'er Mark P0ker H0 Kroon won $32.5k for 3rd, voyager7o9 earned $17k for 5th, and The Universe received $10k for 7th. Dippydough of Massachusetts won his second Bodog $100k Guaranteed tournament in four months this past Sunday; winning $23,600. Ragaboo took home $5,700 for 5th in that tournament followed by pkb6786, who walked away with $3,300 for 7th place.

Other PocketFivers reaching the final table of Sunday's two largest tournaments included rubenrtv and pepperdiablo, who earned $77k and $60k respectively for their 4th and 5th place showings in the Stars Sunday Million. My_emolument was right behind them in 6th place, and collected $43,000. A__theKevlar__2 received $70,000 for 4th place in the Full Tilt $1 Million Guaranteed. SitAndStack won $53k for 5th and Squintngo added $16,700 to his online poker bankroll after coming in 9th.

Five P5's members made the final table of the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed, led by Raoeoiku, who left with $18k after finishing 3rd. Chardrian won $10,500 for 5th, pairDboard21 earned $8,500 for 6th and RockinGuitar bowed out in 8th for $4,500. Jlewis10748 rounded out the UB $200k final table in 10th for $2,000. Yaboystu took 6th place in the Absolute Poker $150k Guaranteed on Saturday for $6,750. He was followed by Kentucky legend Justin Truesyalose Truesdell (pictured) who placed 7th for just over $5k. JRD_312 rounded out the AP $150k final table in 9th and took home $2,550. UNIS of Sweden earned nearly $3k for his 10th place showing in the PartyPoker $300k Guaranteed.

The Stars $200 Sunday rebuy saw a lot of tough competition at its final table. FishOnTilt won $40k for 2nd place and top 10 ranked PURPLEPILS99 cashed for $27,500 in 3rd. PocketFiver 4ofakindbud earned $21k for 4th while s00tedj0kers collected $12,500 for 6th. Jclark9001 and Davidp18 finished 7th and 8th respectively; earning $9,600 and $7,000. David Nutstr84444 Redlin received $14,500 for 6th place in the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl and -BlackFours- cashed for $9k. Boodacious has a $20k score in the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan upon finishing in 4th place. Jagz7 won $16k for 5th in that tournament. BernieKosar19 won $5,700 for 8th and LovinItAll took home $4,000 for 9th.
