Weekend major tournament action centered on the 2008 PokerStars World Championship of Poker, as nearly 2,200 players paid the $5,200 entry into the $10,000,000 Guaranteed WCOOP Main Event on Sunday. The two day event will continue today at 4:30pm ET with 60 players competing for the first place prize of almost $1.8 million. The largest score by a PocketFiver in major tournaments on Sunday was a win in the WCOOP Second Chance by sagat for $151,000. Snake8484 was awarded $81,600 for 3rd place in that same tournament. Comandr_cool and PiKappRaider placed 5th and 6th for $43k and $35k while thepirat collected $18k for 8th.

PocketFiver Damage1 finished 4th in the Full Tilt Poker $1 Million Guaranteed for $65,800. The_Universe took home $52k for his win in the Stars $200 Sunday rebuy by outlasting a final table that featured eight PocketFives.com members. Germany's Alexander derdings Jung won his second Absolute Poker Weekly $150k Guaranteed for $37,500 in the last 35 days; earning $37,500 both times. Amanda Mandy B Baker won the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed for $45,000.

Titantom32 won $48,700 for 2nd place in the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl that attracted 1,791 entrants. Jon apestyles Van Fleet received $21k for 5th, BDBaddog cashed for $14,700 in 6th, and ahhhhhsht rounded out the final table in 9th for $4,300. The Sunday Mulligan on Full Tilt saw four PocketFivers at its final table. Jcasper was awarded $23,300 for 3rd and mgw21 took home $18k for 4th. Skeptix and therobbob20 finished in 8th and 9th place; walking away with $5,000 and $3,500 respectively. D Ro placed 2nd in the Absolute Poker $150k for $24,000 while Gary GB2005 Bogdanski collected $9k for 5th. PocketFives.com Contributing Writer JasonGray finished 9th for $2,550.

Bryan Squirrely1 Sapp continued his online tournament tear on Sunday; placing 2nd in the Stars $200 Sunday rebuy for $39,500 after taking that same tournament down a week ago. An interview with Bryan by PocketFives.com Marketing Director Day Cypra can be found here. 4ofakindbud padded his online poker tournament bankroll to the tune of $30,000 upon ending his tournament life in 3rd place, as JasonGray added a $22,500 score to his already impressive poker resume after coming in 4th. Germany's goodvibe received $15k for 5th, Rayons X got $9,400 for 7th, Hungary's Belabacsi earned $6,700 for 8th, and mojave14 placed 9th for $4,700. Ubsolute cashed for $12k in the Stars WCOOP Warm-Up with his 7th place showing in that event.

Pokergranny won $13,600 for 2nd in the Bodog $100k Guaranteed, followed by quietwinner in 3rd for $9,100 and Justin58 in 4th for $7k. The UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed had its usual high final table participation rate by PocketFivers, with xxjondxx earning $13k for 4th. JBT449 received $9k for 5th and P0KERPR033 took home $7k for 6th. PiKappRaider placed 8th for $5k and Bob1Preston was awarded $3,500 for 9th.

There were no PocketFives.com members at the final table of the DoylesRoom major this weekend, but look for a superstar lineup in the big $250k Guaranteed Super Saturday this week. The PartyPoker $300k Guaranteed did not have any P5's members at its final table. Veteran poster Riverloser placed 6th in the Titan Poker $250k Guaranteed for $10,000 on Sunday.
