Tournament Review for April 13, 2015
The biggest winner in online tournaments this past weekend was Canada’s HAHALIVEPROS,who took home $183,000 for finishing on top of a heads-up deal in the PokerStarsSunday Million. Russia’s Andrey aangierrPateychuk also had a big payday in this tournament, winning $54,340 after a fifth place finish.
Six PocketFivers made the final table of the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up, led by mastercard1, who won the tournament for $90,973. Other PocketFivers at the final table included bajen1999($67,868 for second place), Sweden’s Anton AnteSvanteWigg ($48,518 for third place), Brazil’s Marco SalsichaAlves ($25,126 for fifth place), American poker refugee Aaron aguskbGustavson ($19,350 for sixth place), and Greece’s Alexis alexzervos Zervos (13,574 for seventh place).
James Gatzscored big in the PokerStars Sunday 500, winning $71,900 and the gold medal. Other PocketFivers who made an appearance at the final table included danielt999, Zareta, and TyRusT.
Brazil’s Diego dilimaa Lima outlasted over 35,000 entrants for an outright victory in the PokerStars Sunday Storm and earned $30,476.
Three PocketFivers made the final table in the Pokerfest Main Event on PartyPoker. Tiny_molesterled the way, scoring $42,401 for second place, while Mr Longhitwon $30,699 for third place and Wade ricestud Townsend earned $14,810 for sixth place.
Canada’s Justin justin ouimetteOuimette continued his hot play by shipping the Full TiltSunday Brawl for $26,486, while Brazil’s Joao joaosimaobh Paulo Simao won $43,897 for finishing on top of the Full Tilt Sunday Major.
