Canadian modzillapl will move back into the Top 200 once the new Rankings are released thanks to his runner-up performance in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-up for $88,457 following a heads-up chop. Michael SilentPurple MacHugh (ranked #220 worldwide) will also make a rankings climb after receiving $78,323 for 4th place in the Sunday Million.
United Kingdom’s carpediem200 finds himself in a similar rankings-climb scenario via his 2nd place effort in the Sunday 500 for $59,465 (two-way deal).
Sweden online poker superstar Yaya24(ranked #40) captured at outright victory in the 888 Poker“Super XL” Opening Event for a payday of $58,140. The win could catapult him back into the Top 10 Rankings. PocketFives member jamex of the United Kingdom was the sole P5er at the final table of the Stars Tournament #1 Billion, cashing for $51,122 upon placing 7th.
PocketFivers took the top two spots in the Stars $100 Sunday Rebuy. Belgium’s scrooch025 and Croatia’s ThoNapalm received $47,292 and $42,840 for their respective 1st and 2nd place finishes (three-way deal).
