Tournament Review for June 29, 2015
Paul padjesBerende of the Netherlands (pictured) earned a payday of $140,315 for his runner-up performance in the PokerStarsSunday Million over the weekend. With his heads-up chop of the flagship event, Paul could very well be on his way to a return entry into the Top 10 Worldwide Rankings soon. Fellow PocketFiver FlipMaster08 of Brazil took home $90,717 for his 3rd place showing in that tournament.
The top four spots in the Stars Sunday Warm-Up were occupied by PocketFivers, led by the real roks, who negotiated a two-way deal and collected an even $68,000 for his victory, while Akameowas awarded $55,650 for 2nd place. Sbgstyle took 3rd in that event and received $37,570.
Bryan bparis Paris of Canada (pictured) captured and outright victory in the Stars $100 Sunday Rebuy for $25,862 and will make a return to the Top 100 Worldwide Rankings as a result.
Dan DatWillDoPig Rankin of Ireland was awarded the lion’s share of a 3-way deal in the Sunday Storm. He outlasted more than 29,700 opponents to take the first place prize of $28,055.
Australian imluckboxcame out on top in the PartyPoker $150k Guaranteed Sunday major and received $25,005.
