Tournament Review for May 18, 2015
It was a huge weekend for tournament players with the start of the second week of the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) on PokerStars. Most of Sunday’s SCOOP events were two-day events scheduled to end on Monday, May 18.
Fresh off his record-breaking 25th PocketFives Triple Crown, United Kingdom’s Chris moorman1 Moorman shipped the PokerStars Sunday 500 for $87,400.
In total, seven PocketFivers made the final table in this event including Brazil’s hneves182(second place for $63,500), Bulgaria’s Vladislav vladulaNkoDonchev (third place for $47,500), four-time Triple Crown winner Jeremy ChipsteelaMenard (fourth place for $35,500), Sweden’s Ariados(fifth place for $25,000), Keven StamdoggStammen (eighth place for $10,000), and Sweden’s Andreas r4ndomr4gs Berggren (ninth place for $5,750).
Moorman’s big day didn’t end there, as he also took seventh place in the PartyPoker $200K Guaranteed for $6,200. Coincidentally, Berggren also made the final table in this event, finishing in sixth place for $8,200.
Other PocketFivers to cash in this tournament include Czech Republic’s VictoryCica(second place for $22,780), Canada’s thelyonsden6(fourth place for $12,520), and Bangladesh’s Akash funwheel Majumdar (fifth place for $10,200).
Over on Full Tilt, it was American poker player Ryan moleskineD’Angelo winning $27,009 in the Sunday Major. Also making an appearance at this tournament’s final table were Poland’s gregor7878(fourth place for $15,434), Nick fu_15Maimone (fifth place for $11,190), Mark dipthrongHerm (sixth place for $7,910), Mike chipchucker5Ferrell (eight place for $4,438), and Steve MrTimCaum O’Dwyer (ninth place for $3,280)
