Tournament Review for March 30, 2015
It was another big Sunday online this past weekend with both the Full TiltOnline Poker Series and PokerStars MicroMillions wrapping up with their main events, each boasting a healthy $1 million guaranteed in prizes.
The FTOPS Main Event attracted 1,260 players, generating an almost $1.2 million prize pool. United Kingdom’s Mustapha lasagnaaammmKanit finished in first place for $239,400. Bahamas’ Shankar ShanksPillai, United Kingdom’s Daniel dougiedan678McAulay and Jareth jareth3542 East, and Austria’s overthetop43 also made an appearance at the final table.
Legadzowas the big winner on PokerStars, when he finished in first place in a three-way chop of the Sunday Million for $182,214. Hungary’s Charlisgore8finished in 4th place for $57,400, Israel’s Oleg KingAlikMJ23Sitnyakovsky finished in 5th place for $43,400and Poland’s adrrian1989 finishing in 9th place for $10,850.
Over on 888 Poker, it was United Kingdom’s Rick TheClaimeerTrigg winning $40,236 for taking down the $100,000 Mega Deep. Canadian resident Doug OU_dlanger610 Langer not only took 7th place in this tournament for $5,748, but also made another final table in a major tournament on 888 Poker, getting 3rd place in the Sunday Challenge for $11,428.
