PocketFives.com members were victorious in six major tournaments for the first part of this week, which was kicked off by Full Tilt Poker with the $1K Monday. This event had 348 entrants this week and 7th ranked player taypaur (pictured) of California was our top finisher, winning the tournament outright for $87,000. This win comes less than 24 hours after his win the previous night in the Sunday Brawl for $125,200. Corey muchaka Cheresnick finished 3rd in Monday's tournament, walking away with $41.7k, followed by Eric sheets Haber in 4th for $32,200. The $100 rebuy 6-max on PokerStars had a final table of five P5ers this week, led by CrazyZachary of Las Vegas, who outlasted the field to earn the $25.1k top prize. Finishing runner-up to Zach was Canadian player Jason StatusUp Lavallee, who walked away with just over $17,400. kvnok88, who just last month had a 3rd place finish in the Sunday Million for $139.5k, placed 3rd in this week's event for $13,100. Amsterdam player raza14 earned $6.5k for 5th place followed by pbdrunks in 6th for $4,400.

Six PocketFives.com members reached Monday's Nightly Hundred Grand tournament on PokerStars, led by Jason SouthcJay7 Tessitore, who finished runner-up to player "illegitimate" for $16,800. L0stKeys walked away with $9.5k for his 4th place finish while JBurleson earned $6.6k for 5th. Florida player Steely placed sixth in that event for $5.3k, HotKarlMC finished 7th for $4.1k and Babooyah finished in 8th place for $2,800.


Tuesday's Nightly Hundred Grand event on PokerStars four P5ers at its final table. Triple Crown winner Big Huni (left) was our top finisher, placing runner-up for $15,900. Ben masterminds Chen placed 7th in that event for $3.8k, followed by threatnasty in 8th for $2.6k and #1 ranked player Steve gboro780 Gross in 9th for $1,500.

The Super Tuesday on PokerStars had 396 entrants this week and a final table packed with PocketFives members. Just two days after his 3rd place finish in the PartyPoker Monthly Million for $69k, Nicolas PokerKaiser Fierro of Chile captured a victory in this event for $76,600. Virginia player chimpoo14 earned $57.4k after finishing runner-up to Fierro, followed by rock3656 in 4th for $32.6k. Kieth damurdera3 Ferrera of Las Vegas earned $22.5k for his 5th place finish, viniciustele in 8th for $9.5k and UHBigTex finished in 9th for $6,900.

Five PocketFives members reached Tuesday's $100 rebuy on PokerStars. Greg DuckU Hobson was the eventual winner of that event, taking home just over $23,300. In September '09, Hobson had a 3rd place showing in the WCOOP-16 ($1,050 NL) tournament for $140,200. Fourteenth ranked player Corey comandr_cool finished runner-up to Hobson, taking in just over $17,000. Other notable finishes include tcblade in 4th place for $9.6k, Illini213 in 6th for $5.1k and TheDecano earned $1.9k for ninth place.

Wednesday's $100 rebuy 6-max tournament on PokerStars had just P5s members at its final table this week. Triple Crown winner David D Ro Rowan earned $10.4k for a 4th place finish and Bluntzz549 finished 5th for $7,800.


The Quarter Million on PokerStars had 898 entrants this week. Five P5s members made this final table, led by Keven Stamdogg Stammen (left) of Coldwater, Ohio, who finished runner-up for just over $35,000. Triple Crown winner JLizard finished 4th for $19.6k, followed by szusza84 in 6th for $11,100. Arizona player czglory pocketed $8.4k for 7th place and elitewrestla earned $3.4k for 9th.

The $100k Guarantee on Full Tilt Poker had 391 entrants this week. This is a $100 rebuy 6-max tournament, usually attracting some of the top tournament professionals and known to be one of the toughest weekly tournaments. Five P5s members reached this week's final table, led by 67th ranked player D1rtyR1v3r, who finished on top of the field, walking away with the $33.4k top prize. Runner-up finisher thecronic420 earned just over $22k for his finish and currently stands at #64 in the PocketFives.com rankings. Other notable finishes include BrendonR in third for $15.9k, gboro780 in 5th for $8.3k and cdbr3799 in 6th for $5,400.

UB.com held its Sniper $80k Guaranteed tournament on Wednesday. This is a $200+15 buy-in event with a $20 bounty on each player. Six P5s members reached this final table, led by Triple Crown winner and 79th ranked player Anbessa, who finished in 3rd place for $8,200. Canadian player rivverkiller took 4th in this event for $5.6k, followed by JDsmith9 in 5th for $4,800. AwesomeO placed 6th for $4k, PokerKaiser in 7th for $3.2k and yellowsub earned $2.4k for ninth.
Eight P5ers reached the final table of the $150k Guaranteed tournament, which is a $1,000+50 buy-in event. This week 137 players entered this tournament and SPIN101 was the last man standing, taking down the event and the $39.7k top prize. Forty-eighth ranked player ryanbluf (right) had a runner-up performance, walking away with $24,000 for his efforts. 99NvrLosez was eliminated in third place for $17.6k, followed by brainwash in 4th for $14,200. Triple Crown winner CNT_CRUSHER took 5th place for $10.8k, followed by theczar19 in 6th for $9k, HHHUGO in 7th for $7.1k and rivermanl in 8th place for $5,200.
