Still going strong on WPT Poker, which makes its home on the same network as PartyPoker, is the Card Rush promotion, which made its triumphant return at the beginning of February. A total of 1.8 million cards will be distributed during this go-around of Card Rush, and a little more than 800,000 remain at the time of writing. WPT Poker offers players a 100% up to $500 deposit bonus. You’ll also get one free month of PocketFives Training with the sign-up fee waived if you create your account through our links and make a deposit.

The Card Rush promotion concludes at the end of the day on February 29th or when every card has been given away, whichever comes first. How do you play? Every time you generate 15 points on WPT Poker, you’ll get a card. Each card has some sort of prize associated with it and, in order to claim your first one, all you need to do is accrue five points.

To see what you’ve won, visit your WPT Poker account and scratch off the card. What do you stand to win? For starters, you can claim between 10 and 25,000 additional points. Alternately, some cards contain cash, to the tune of between $1 and $5,000. There are also six freerolls that you can win tickets to; these contain prize pools that vary between $2,000 and $20,000. Finally, Card Rush race points will be awarded. What will you win?

The six Card Rush freerolls will take place between March 2nd and March 5th. Two freerolls – which have prize pools of $2,000 and $15,000 – will run on March 2nd, while $5,000 and $10,000 freebies will take place on March 3rd. On March 4th, any Card Rush participants who received $3,000 and $20,000 freeroll tickets will vie for their prizes. The last freeroll takes place on March 5th and will dish out $7,500.

Nine different point values will be given away on select cards: 10, 20, 50, 100, 150, 250, 750, 5,000, and 25,000. Or, maybe you’ll be lucky enough to scratch off a card that contains a cash prize like $1, $2, $3, $5, $10, $50, $250, or $5,000. Again, to see what you’ve won, visit your WPT Poker account and scratch away.

Finally, the Card Rush promotion on WPT Poker includes its very own race. Five race point values could be your card’s prize: one, three, five, 10, and 20. The Card Rush race points help you rise up a special leaderboard that gives away up to $9,000. Plenty of spots will pay out, with $9,000 going to the winner, $7,000 going to the runner-up, and $5,250 going to third place. All told, the top 10 players will walk away with at least $1,000, which is sure to be a welcome bankroll boost as we turn the calendar to March.

The top 200 places on the Card Rush Race leaderboard will take home at least $100. Then, every 20th position from 220th to 2,000th will pay out $50.

As a side note, you can collect up to 50 cards every day during the WPT Poker Card Rush promotion, and, as text found on the room’s website cautions, “At only 15 points per card, they’ll be snapped up fast, so make sure you don’t miss out on your share.” The Card Rush promotion has largely been a hit in the past, and we’re looking forward to seeing PocketFives members excel in it this time around. The rake-based sites that PocketFives promotes do not take USA players. PocketFives does not recommend playing online poker on sites offering rake-based games in the United States. Your money may be at risk. We feel more comfortable at this time recommending no-rake sites such as HogWild Poker
