The World Series of Poker Circuit has added six stops to the tour’s international schedule, while making one slight change to its domestic schedule.

The international additions start as early as November 22 with a stop kicking off in Sydney, Australia at The Star, the country’s second-largest casino. The other added stops don’t start until after the new year, but will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, Campione, Italy (which adds its second stop of the season), Cannes, France, Estoril, Portugal and Brussels, Belgium.

Just like their domestic counterparts, each international stop will automatically send two players to theGlobal Casino Championship. The winner of the Main Event and the Casino Champion from each international spot will earn a seat into the season-ending event. No at-large bids can be earned from the international stops, however, which can only be earned at Circuit stops on U.S. soil.

“We are very pleased to add theses additional stops to the WSOP Circuit,” said WSOP Director Gregory Chochon. “We have been very judicious on which locales and casinos we will work with and believe we have found terrific partners in each of these markets to help bring the WSOP brand to a local and regional audience.”

This announcement comes right on the heels of one of the most successful non-U.S. Circuit stops in the tour’s history. The series at the Transamerica Expo Center in Sao Paolo Brazil just finished at the beginning of the month and held the largest ever WSOP-branded event outside of the United States. There were 2,981 entrants in the first event of the series, a multi-flight re-entry event.

With the added stops, a complete international schedule for this season looks like this:

  • Campione, Italy – September 8-20 – Casino Campione (Completed)
  • Berlin, Germany – September 29-October 9 – Spielbank Berlin (Completed)
  • Sao Paolo, Brazil – October 26 – November 2 – Transamerica Expo Center (Completed)
  • Rozvadov, Czech Republic – October 27 – November 14 – King’s Casino
  • St Maarten, Caribbean – November 3-16 – Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino
  • Paris, France – November 11-27 – Cercle Clichy Montmartre
  • Sydney, Australia – November 22 – December 12 – The Star, Sydney
  • Punta del Este, Uruguay – December 2-11 – Enjoy Conrad Punta Del Este
  • Marrakech, Morocco – January 14-22, 2017 – Casino de Marrakech
  • Campione, Italy – March 6-20, 2017 – Casino Campione

  • Estoril, Portugal – May 1-7, 2017 – Casino Estoril
  • Brussels, Belgium – May 19-28, 2017 – Grand Casino Brussels Viage

The other change to the WSOP Circuit schedule is on U.S. soil. Originally, there was a Circuit stop scheduled at Bally’s in Las Vegas from February 23 to March 6. Due to a scheduling conflict, that stop has been moved down the road to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino and will take place February 16-27.

The remaining stops on the domestic tour have remained unchanged and are scheduled to go off as planned.
