Yuval Bronshtein, also known as yuvee04, is a legend in the online poker community. He has had great results, no doubt, but it’s not his lifetime online total of just over $700,000 in cashes that has earned him attention. Instead, it was a unique feat in 2008 that got his name in lights.

Back in the days when Full Tilt Poker was not a curse word, the former second largest online poker room in the world hosted its extremely popular and prestigious Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS).

In FTOPS IX, Bronshtein entered two tournaments – Event 14 ($535 HORSE) and Event 15 ($216 No Limit Hold’em Turbo) simultaneously. When he won Event 15 for $101,975 at about Midnight EST, he was still alive in Event 14, so he forged ahead, playing into the morning.

Six hours later, he emerged victorious in the HORSE event, marking an incredible online poker achievement. In 2010, Bronshtein won a third FTOPS tournament for good measure.

A native of Israel now living in the United States, Yuval Bronshtein has also found success on the live tournament circuit. Prior to the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event, he had cashed 20 times at the WSOP, finishing as high as third ($2,000 Pot Limit Hold’em in 2007).

In 2012, he reached two final tables prior to his Main Event run, finishing fifth in a $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo event for $48,387 and sixth in a $3,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event for $57,339. With $132,000 in winnings prior to the Main Event, Bronshtein’s run in the $10,000 buy-in tournament will make 2012 his most lucrative year yet. He finished in 23rd in the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event for $294,000.

In his career leading up to the 2012 WSOP Main Event, Yuval Bronshtein had won $672,753 in live poker tournaments. He is still seeking his first bracelet or major victory of any kind.
