so I busted before the moneyAQ vs AK in 25k I was trapped w/ 13bbs by dude limping button w/ AK and snap calling my sb shove.
I took 15th in the $75 35k when my AT lost to 44 AIPF when an active big stack had raised 2.75x from cut off, I shoved my 16bb stack from button in his face w/ AT and he promplty calls off more than half his stack w/ 44. I turn my T he rivers a club putting a 4 card flush on the board giving him the flush and me left w/o a club in my hand and out of the tourney. horrible timing imo, I felt like if I win that hand I win the tourney. I was playing very well and running gooood. I just gotta breakthrough and get that Win.
on a similar note, after final tabling and final 2 tabling SOOO MANY fucking tournaments w/o getting a top 3 finish my bankroll is HURTING dramatically. I had some moderate success in January and early February. as a result I began playing $109-$215 rather often directly buyin in. my average buy on opr went from $21 to $90 as a result of this change in my game selection. after a rather long draught in the higher levels I’ve decided to step back down to the smaller levels. for the next month I plan on only playing tournaments with a buy in of less then $26 (unless I satellite in). hopefully I will be able to close out a tournament at this level rather soon and/or find a financial backer to allow me to play back up at the $109-$215 level. WISH ME LUCK EVERYONE!
