The more I play, the more I wonder how I am coming up short. small tourneys, big tourneys, cheap tourneys, expensive ones too. I study really hard and try to ballance a job, fiance and two kids along with it. I just cant seem to take a good share, though I feel when I play my "A game" I am pretty unstoppable.
I recently realized a few of my flaws. So more this post is about how to counteract those weaknesses. When I play, I find that half the time, when i am not in the hand, I am letting my mind wonder away from the cards instead of paying attention to what my opponents are doing and learning there tendencies. On top of that, when I play a tournament, I am getting a little impatient whenever I am not playing as a higher than average chip stack. I was hoping I could get a little advice on how to keep focused, and hopefully enjoy the thrill of winning more often. All help is appreciated, Thanks.
