  1. First time blogger, have been playing Poker for about 5 years on and off. Largest online cash came in a tourney on Poker Stars for about $6,200. Nothing big not yet. This first article is about finding out what is a good percentage for cashing in Tournaments. I did a comparison to Major League Baseball and figured it could be the same. They say in the Major's if you do good 30% of the time you are a good Baseball Player. If you bat .300 thats really good, so could that be the same for Poker Tournaments. If you cash in 30% or more of every tournament you enter in a whole is that pretty good. I compared a single in baseball being the same as cashing, a double as far as doubling your investment into a tournament. In other words $10 Buy-In and you cashed $20+. A triple has to be for sure making the final table and a Homerun, well, winning the whole damn thing. I just want to know if anyone else thinks this could be a good comparison, out of 10 Tournaments or a 100, what is the good hitter's percentage........ in Poker of course.

    Thanks,

    Anthony Rodriguez
