I just don't f-ing get it..I go in hands ahead or way ahead and I always seem to get rivered when it matters. When I'm deep in an MTT Ill have 2 pr and someone hits a gutshot on me to knock me out. I can't count the hands I'm ahead and lose on the river. Granted I do hit the river as well but when it matters it's like I'm on shit list for the poker sites to fuck me over. I watch alot of final tables and it seems the big players always hit what they need. I know I can learn more and improve, but when you are constantly ahead and lose say before a final table when you play to win and are ahead its deflating. I've seen where people say it's your mentality, but I'm not sure about that at all. Everytime I'm in a showdown ahead when it matters I can sit there can call out the card that will fuck me over.. god its so frustrating, I'm not stupid, I know the game, not necessarily the math odds but I know it. What do I need to change? Where can I win those hands?
If anyone reads this I'm more than open to help and advice. I would love to get some help because I know I can succeed. I have always succeeded in things when I work at them..god damn its frustrating..just once I would like to jump up and be like fuck yeah I won and didn't get screwed over again..
here is a perfect example..im clearly ahead and this douchebag calls me with 1010 and hits the river...
