So we just got to first break and I am sitting in 362 out of 1447. My stack is at $4398 which is above the average of 3562. My table has a lot of sitters, and I have been only able to play small ball poker. The highest my stack has been was just over 5k and I lost some of those chips with AK. Time to get my game going and try to take advantage of the sitters as well as the chip leader at my table(14k) and the other average stack...........
Break #2 (4:55pm est)
I am sitting in 398 out of 785 people. My stack took a slight hit right before the break. My stack is at $5048 which is below the average of 6566. I have to big stacks to my left which is making it harder for me. They have 22215 and 33910 respectively. It also doesn't help that the deck is cold right now and I haven't really had any spots to get my money in good. Hopefully, things will pick up after this break and I can double up for the first time today. It's been a day of small ball poker, which is not really my style, but it has been keeping me afloat. Stay tuned for more details.
Break #3 (5:55pm est)
What a roller coaster ride between breaks. i am sitting in 199 out of 370 people. My stack of $11106 isn't too far off from the average of $13932. I was almost down and out with 1300 left when I got lucky and doubled up my KJ vs 33. I raised preflop and he called flop came out 786 rainbow. he bets and I go all in. his 3 get counterfitted on the river when 78 went runner runner. 2 hands later I get it all in on the flop of AQ10....I had AQ and my opponent calls with AJ...two blanks on the turn and river. I'll post those hands up later. Back to the tourney....hopefully I can pick up where I left off.
Break #4 (655pm est)
What a way to go into the break then picking up pocket aces. I doubled up big time! I am now sitting in 106 out of 216 (top 153 cash). My chip stack is now at $19812 which is a few thousand lower then then average stack of $23865. There wasn't much going on this hour for me...a few hands here and there to keep me at about 10k. Here is the big double up below:

Break #6 (8:55pm est)
So I am sitting in 31st out of 62. I have no reached the $55 ticket. My stack is at $68,424 and is below the average of $83145. The highest my stack got up to was $97k when I had AA vs 88.
I'm just gonna play my game from here on out and whatever happens will happen! I am very happy with my performance this entire series and now have at least $104.50 in tickets to Scoops...not bad for being a blogger =)
More updates to come!
Break #7 (9:55pm est)
WOW, luck is on my side. I watched as my stack went from 68k down to 40k. I shoved with k10 vs A5c and spiked a K on the flop. Two hands later I shoved again with k10 Vs 99 and hit a straight on the river. I am now up to $203k and sit in 9th out of 37th. We are on the bubble to getting a $215 ticket...more to come!
Break #8 (10:55pm est)
Wow what an up and down hour.. I saw my stack go up to over $400k and now back down to $265k. The hand that crippled me was my AQ vs AA. Anyway, there are 17 players left and I am sitting in 10th. I have secured at least a $215 ticket to Scoops and need to hit the top 9 for the next prize of $2100 ticket. It's been a very long 8 hours, but well worth it.......More updates to come.
Break #9 (11:55pm est)
WOW! I am sitting at the final table. No matter what, I will walk away with a $2100 ticket. I have $639k in front of me which puts me in 3rd out of 9. I had the chip lead for about 5 mins and have the pic to prove it! haha........its been almost 9 hours since this tourney started and my ass is sore.....A beer is def in order after this is over. Please go to http://myusapoker.com/wpt.aspx
for the live blog updates from the final table.......
more updates in a bit!
Okay, my run has ended in 5th place. I walk away with a $2100 ticket and probably one of my best tourney's I have ever played in. I out lasted 2057(2062 total players started) other players and played for just shy of 10 hours. My butt is sore, and I'm tired, but so damn excited. The hand I went out on was A8 vs J10. The flop was all hearts and I held the A. I was short stacked, and if I folded I would have had under 200k. Sadly, I couldn't hit an Ace or a heart to win. Ah well!
