So, things have been going a little better lately. I ended up getting 9th in the FTP 50/50 last Wed after running my JJ into KK. Well tonight/this morning I just chopped the 50-Hundo because of double guarantee week. I made the most of my 1 entry, chopped it for 18,000. The bad news, I have to go to work in about an hour so no sleepy for fratzner. But the 18k score is my largest by about 2x. I am running on fumes, I ran all sorts of good. 66 sucked out on JJ, 88 sucked out on QQ on the FT for a ton of chips.

After taking last Monday off I seemed to play pretty well on Tues, Wed, and Friday. Made the final table of the 27.50 on Stars on Wed. Had a huge stack, got 4 handed, lost 88 to AQ bvb for a monster CL 3 handed, then I just couldn't get anything going, every time I tried to 3b, I'd get 4 bet shoved, every time I raised I'd get 3b, which is fine if I had ever had anything... I ended up stacking off top pair to bottom set for a very disappointing 4th place.

Friday had a couple of deep runs that ended in a flurry, which tends to happen a lot

Took Saturday off in hopes of being ready to go yesterday... Yesterday was the biggest POS day ever. I was getting owned. Losing flips, having guys hit sets vs my over pair, etc etc... I know it happens, but when it happens that much that fast, it's hard to take, I don't care who you are. So I was running bad decided to stop registering at 5pm et and play stuff out.

Then all of a sudden I won 2 huge flips in the MiniFTOPS then had a big stack. Granted there was still 1k people left, but seeing 250k in chips was a nice thing at that point. So I am one tabling that sucker, then run bad rears its god damn head again. AQss < ATo button vs SB all in pre for 100k, then I managed to pick up AA in the SB, and hj 3b shoves initial raiser for his last 80k with KQhh. Flop KKx, turn Q, river x NO PROBLEM!!! Then I lose a 180k chip race with 66 vs AK HJ to SB. It's amazing how fast a great run can come to a screeching halt. If only I had won the AA hand I would have taken 1-2 in that sequence... Needless to say I need to make a run to Best Buy today and buy a new optical mouse I shattered that shit.

Moral of the story, I hate Howard Lederer.

So my last blog was about how much I hate getting coolered, and I was extremely frustrated on Thursday. Yesterday, I was not into playing at all. I played the 42k on FTP, the 33k KO on FTP, and DNG on Stars. It's not like I didn't try to win, but after about an hour I realized that I was not on my A game and just decided to stop registering for tournaments. I am going to take today off as well. The weekend was good, but it's Monday, I had to get up early drive up Michigan for work.

I think tonight, I will work out, make some dinner, watch Notre Dame v Nova. Hell maybe even do my taxes. If there is time later and I am not ready to fall asleep I will watch a couple vids on PXF to see if I can get my mind right again. February was not a great month, it started off positive, but then I feel like I started running like a quadropalegic in a marathon. I think the opportunity to refocus is paramount to a successful March. I need it, like the desert needs the rain.
