  1. I accidentally started writing about this under the "poker discussion" thread. Whoops. So far I've had to make pretty not-fun lay downs. I've made standard raises with KK, QQ, and TT so far, only to see 2-3 opponents call and one card higher than my pair hit the board each time.

I just made a dumb mistake by calling off half my stack with AJs pf when this guy who had just lost a huge pot with AA v. QQ spewed with A3os the very next hand, making it look like he was completely on tilt. Of course, in the hand following this, I caught AJs and he shoved again. I made a very regrettable call and he turned over JJ. Next hand, same guy shoved again, got called again, and he turned over QQ. Other than losing with the aces, that's some pretty sick luck. Blinds are still low but I've got less than half the starting stack at the moment because of my horrible call. Long way to go here.

  2. Okay since P5s is letting me post updates to my blog again, I thought I'd document a goal for the rest of this week. This might be a little insane since I've actually got most of my non-work time committed to helping a buddy work on his new house this week, but I've been running so hot I thought I'd try to break $200 by next Sunday morning.

    Bankroll: $139.50
(Challenge: start with six buy-ins ($33) and work up to $357.50 by playing $5.50 9-man SnGs on Full Tilt one-at-a-time. Once I hit that goal, just use Jennifear's awesome bankroll management and cash-out strategy to move up levels)

  3. Problems publishing (wtf P5s?) have kept me from updating, but:

    Bankroll: $139.50
