I move last Thursday. I sign a lease that includes all utilities, including internet. I get here an no internet. Landlord gets back to me next day, makes appt. with Comcast for the day after. Saturday he comes and says I need to set up separate account for guest house. He'll take care of it Tuesday... 4 realz? Fine, Tuesday comes and passes. I call the guy Wednesday, he says I set you up and just go to Comcast office for internet modem. Okay, I do that and hook it up and it doesn't work. I make service call, they come out Thursday and say the signal is too weak on the splitter to the guest house. Landlord has guest house wired for ethernet but it's not hooked up to anything. He calls his electrician and we're waiting for him to call back. I'm itching to play and a little pissed at this lost week. I was also supposed to get cable tv with 300 channels but that doesn't work either. I don't care as much about tv but that is icing on the cake. I write this from my gf's laptop which somtimes picks up landlords wireless. Oh, efff meeee......I wanted to go to London too for EPT side events and my gf said it was bad timing so I'm doing nothing instead. Gl all at the live and virtual tables........

The announcer butchers me at times....lol...he is right a couple times but I don't think he really knows how to play PLO8. For him a nut lo draw is the nizzles.

I finally broke through for what I consider a major score. Yesterday (or the early morning hours of today actually) we made a deal 4 way at the FT. I was chipleader and got $62.3K with a chance to play for 10k more. I think it was a good deal as 2nd place was 60k. The winner probably got 59k so I came out tops moneywise. I played too loose after the deal and was very tired. My bust hand:

Flop A59r, SB bets and I raise (holding 24510). He comes over top. Oops, now I should be folding here with bottom pair and 2nd nut lo. I tell the guy I'm tired and lets gamble and shove. He shows AK23 and I'm crushed. Turns 4 to all but end it.

Anyway, I wish I would have maintained my focus a little better. As the winner he got a WCOOP braclet and a trip to the Bahamas during PCA. Still though. Great score for me. I had my first 5 figure score the day before (10.5k) and got my 2nd the next day. So I figured I was do for another one for todays WCOOP 2.1k PLO 6max. I go to register and it shows to buy in a step 6 ticket. I completely forgot I had that (played steps a couple years ago and never used it). So that was nice to save the 2.1k buy in. That was it though. My bust hand:

I make PSB on button with AAKKcc. I type in chat it's time for me to 3 bet from my button on you because he had done the same to me earlier. Flop is QJ4r, I bet maybe 60% of pot and he check raises pot. Against a tighter player I would serious consider a fold. I think he is making a move on me with either air or a pair and st8 draw. I think 15 seconds and call. Turn makes it QJ45cc and he bets small for pot. Well if he had QJ he would have shoved turn no doubt, looks like a busted draw, I stick the rest in and he has to call as he is pot comitted, he tables A1094 and is 20% to win. FML, I felt I had such a good edge on this field with deep stacks that I wouldn't get it in with just a pair, no need to. It was read dependent on the guy though and I gambled. I can't be too unhappy because I was in a good position to have 300bbs and a top 30 stack. So disappointing.

Also busted the 6max 2nd chance $530 buy in.

I raise with A1075 two suit and get 3 bet from button. 4 way flop is 964hh, checks to button who makes PSB. I have up/down str8 and flush draws and decide to check raise PSB. He tanks a little and calls. Turn Jx. I make another PSB repping trips and am committed to pot. He tanks a sticks the rest in, I call and he shows AA96r. For middle two pair. Fades the river and I'm out. Fack me. I think its a terrible call on the flop by him, no redraws and I'm shoving either trips or a monster draw. As it was I'm 53% on flop so it's a race but that is his best case, otherwise he is crushed. With the turn J I shove again now he has to consider I have trips. Now he has two middle pair and no redraw and is stuck on a tough decision. Again, I would fold the turn, but some guys can't fold and his hand held. I guess any luck I used up in the PLO8 event. Wasn't my day today. I'll play the WCOOP NL PLO8 tomorrow. Should be interesting.
