Hot streaks give me brainache

As one of my goals for November I decided I wanted to start writing a blog. Since this is my first post it's gonna be pretty dull as I just want to lay down some rules for myself.

I play poker maybe 4 or 5 nights a week and check PocketFives way too often. I don't think it's unrealistic for me to have something to update this blog with twice weekly so I'll aim to do that for the time being. I'm thinking the usual stuff feelings on sessions for the week, hand analysis, brag posts, rants whatever takes me at the time.

I've had a fairly hot run the last couple of days spinning an $11 ticket I won in a freeroll into a $109 ticket on Tuesday night and running that in turn into a $2250 package to a GUKPT tournament of my choice. Unfortunatley the season is already coming to an end (Day 1b of the final tournament of the season actually takes place tomorrow) so I'm not really sure where that leaves me and am waiting for an email from the Blue Square Poker suppport team.

I wanted to share a hand from the $11 tourney but the blue sq hand history sucks balls so I'm gonna have to do it the hard way and retype it - sorry!

$11 Satellite tourney 3-handed with 1st=$109token and 2nd=$61cash

Kh - I remember a P5s thread about 'the best feeling in poker' in which someone suggested the resuckout - they were very very correct!

There is absolutely nothing to discuss with this hand. I'm only posting it because of how it made me feel to resuckout on the villain after he hit that 6 on the flop. I would have been crippled otherwise and certainly not a $2250 package better off today.

I now have a bit of a dilemma with what to do with that package. I set up a thread in PD on the topic and I'd appreciate any thoughts.

Hopefully I can keep this up and when I'm back playing on pokerstars the hand histories will be easier to analyse.

Thanks for reading and GL at the tables,
