  1. I had my most improbable tournament win last night on FTP. I was playing a $8.80 tournament (the ones limited to 180 people) and I had a very healthy stack of around 12k with less then 40 people left. Feeling good I got involved with a guy 2 to my right with a similar sized stack. If I could still copy and past hands from FTP I would post it here but needless to say I ended up making what I thought was a solid bluff but it ended up costing me all but 161 of my chips. At that time the blinds were 300/150 w 50 antes. I was pretty much done till FTP decided to flip my boom switch. I quaded up to around 700 the next hand when my 10-3 made 2 pair. Not long after my KJ beat KQ and another hand to get me up around 2k iirc. From there I just nursed my stack until it got large enough to play normally. Went to the final table with a good sized stack and got the win turning 161 chips into $388. I was just happy cash but the win makes the story even sweeter.

  2. Probably cause there isn't much to talk about. I took all my money off of Cake Poker, I made about $600 in profit there thanks to rakeback. Had a few notable tournies, only one sticking out in my mind is a win in a low limit Omaha Hi/Lo tourny, rest of the winnings were mostly Omaha cash tables. I think sharkscope has me around the $300 profit level.

I cleared out my player points on PokerStars a month ago for about $30 in T$, I played $5.50 Double or Nothings to try and convert that into cash, I ended up winning 1 for a whopping $10, lol. Currently grinded that up to $100, give or take a few dollars on how I do that day. Hopefully I can keep that going and get a real bankroll again soon. Till then I am just taking it easy and not playing as much (it being the end of the semester in school also takes up my time)

  3. Haven't written a blog in a while because I pretty much quit tournaments and moved off of pokerstars. I play almost exclusively 6 max PL Omaha now, just grinding it out on CAKE because I got rakeback. I play the .1/.2 tables after making a good bit at the .05/.1 tables. Add in the $90 in bonuses I had left that I cleared and the $150 (at least) in rakeback I have earned all ready for the month and I had a good month for someone just trying to grind out $300 a month.

Omaha is probably the most fun I ever had playing cash tables, I racked up 16,000 hands so far this month and its been pretty much uphill as far as earnings. I did have a bad downswing right when I moved up in stakes but stuck it out and am up a few buyins at my current level. I feel like I have a lot more to learn to maximize my wins and losses, I love the added chances to gamble really gives you more of a chance to win big (or loss quick)

As mentioned before I 'quit' pokerstars. I wanted to concentrate all my money on to CAKE as the rakeback is pretty important while grinding the low stakes, plus I feel the players are worse. I will be back, I will eventually get the bug to play tournaments again I am sure. Till then I am happy making money and not being tied to a computer for hours.
