Well, it is only four months before we write off this year, so I became inspired to try and challenge myself on two fronts, the first being poker and the second being fitness. So since this blog is about my poker life, I am going to try and earn 10K by December 31, 2010.

What really inspired me to do this challenge is I was reading one of Tristan"Cre8ive" Wade twitters about one of his students(Mario "MaYiTo" Romera) that started out on full tilt and poker stars with $100 on both sites in February of 2010 and by August of 2010 he hit his goal. I have had some coaching by Tristan via deepstacks live so I thought, I could do that if I really put my mind to it, plus I have never really put that much effort into my other times I have tired similar challenges.

So here is the outline of what I will allow myself to play on both sites.

Now on both sites they have promotions if you get X number of points you get either a iron man (full tilt) or different star rating(poker stars).
I have already mapped out where I would like to be for both sites, below is what I need to get there.

Playing 4 per hour of 4 tables
Playing 4 hours a day for 5 days a week = 20 hours a week
Average Buy-in is $10.00
Monthly VPP Total: 7,568
Monthly FPP Total: 13,295

TO GET TO IRON MAN STATUS
25 days at 200 points a day
If I just play SnG's it would require 29 per day which normally takes about 4 hours.

Both sites will have the exact same amount when I start $330.00.

I will begin the challenge on Sept 1, 2010 and update this blog every Sunday starting on Sept 5, 2010, they will include where I am on my challenge along with any interesting hands.
