  1. There are a couple of things I would like to spew onto laptop regardless of whether the material is viewed by others or not :)

    1. Pocketfives must get ther act together immediately!!!!!! I feel I have been extremely patient waiting for p5's to get on the ball in order to at least get their site back to the caliber it was. I have absolutely no problem w/ the new layout (like 2+2, the white, etc.) but the fact that all recent scores are completely skewed and the lack of plb pts and %s is ridiculous. I also understand the fact that while these problems are small, they could take a certain amount of time to correct. However after what feels like almost 2 weeks since the adjustment there has been no correction or reply to my pms (i know adam starts threads that say just wait etc, but cmon) there has been absolutely no progress from what my eyes can see.

    2. Volume is quite the enigma. When I was seriously beginning in MTT i obv read what the majority of the best MTT players said and played what I considered obsurd volume. While working 50+hrs a week, I was also playing 4-5hrs day/6 days a week. While I was making a fair profit at the mid-levels doing this, I def felt I wasn't playing near my best 100% of the time and it bothered me. Moving forward I recently lost my job and again went to unreal sick volume. Mainly I did this because I could time wise:) Again making decent profits but struggled w/ the desire to play and this rly messed w/ my mind/game. I'll put this thought on hold while I move on to my last thought.

    3. Exercise is SOOOOO crucial!!!!!!!!!! I wish i didn't have to portray enthusiasm like a 14yr old girl on AIM, but seriously I want every1 to at least give it a shot. After losing my job and playing sick volume I got incredibly bored of sitting inside all day. After getting tired of random "420" drives, decided to start working out again (college athlete, but 2 yrs out and have gotten slightly out of shape). After working out for about 3days straight I started to feel incredible. The weird thing about my attitude was that not only did I feel great, I didn't feel the urge to play poker so badly every waking moment around my place. So w/ this new clearity I began to only play when I really felt like playing. This moves back to pt. #2. Mr. Menlo aka the sickest always talks about only playing when he feels like it, thus making it much more likely to play A+game plus an increase in focus.

    W/out going too much deeper since working out and cutting back on volume I have had my largest score by far, and find myself much more confident/creative late in tournies and thus playing for the top 3 as this sick profession requires :)

    oh and obv i understand 3days of working out seems frivolous... its been 2 weeks now but thankfully my body/metabolism still thinks im 18 so its slightly more significant imo.

  2. There was a blog. Hi all my name is Ben and I live in Westerville Ohio.

    I recently lost a great job w/ a large financial insitution and am looking forward to moving to the east coast to get my MBA in Marketing (most likely). I'm not going to ramble on for a number of reasons, 1st being the likelyhood of ne1 reading this = 0. 2nd I'm lifted and its Sunday morning.

    O and for the 1st time I saw my name on a monthly plb contest for Ohio. only 3900 behind Cmoney, he's prly worried imo.
