so i have decided to start a weekly blog. i plan on making an entry every monday night. in this first blog i will basicly discuss what i plan on doing with the blog and why i have decided to do it.
Why
so my reasoning behind doing this is purely motivational purposes. im in the middle of the worst downswing ive ever gone through, this had lead me to drop in stakes and find a backing deal. i have also more or less taken a step back from poker (and p5s :-( ) over the last 2 months for a combination of reasons.
i have decided its time for me to get back into it and rly work on my game. in the past i have basicly just played the game and the only work i did on my game was reading and posting in PD here on P5s. while i feel it has drastically improved my game, i realized i never take time to work on my own actual game and never rly take time to think about poker and situations away from just analyzing a spot someone else has posted.
in the past ive tried to work on my own game but would get unmotivated pretty quickly, so this is why i have decided to start the blog. i hope that with this blog i will be encouraged to analyze my game and to focus on what im doing while im playing
what
so that brings me to the what i plan on doing in my blog posts. each week i will focus on my play from the week that has just passed, ill talk about how i feel im playing and stuff like that but mostly i want to try and pick out some hands i felt i played well and i felt i played badly and actually analyze them. hopefully by doing this it will encourage me to focus more while im playing and to be able to bring my game to another level. also hopefully those of you who decide to read this will find it helpful.
so thats about all, im willing to write about anything rly, its more about just taking the time to actually put thought and analysis into the game. so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to lmk
i hope this end up working out, see u all next week
