  1. oK, I will be playing a full schedule today.

Going to watch the Hornets/Spurs. And the Cubs Dbacks games. I am going to post all my tournies and results for today.

Been feeling good with my play latley

  2. After my nice wins I decided to cash some out, I also moved up some limits in PLO and had some nice sessions. All of this has been affording me to play in some higher buyin MTT's that I usually don't play. played the 1k on FTP for the first time ever. Not a bad tournament, def good competition. I played pretty well, played tight as you could imagine. Ended up missing a cash by about 20 spots or so. I wasn't dissapointed at all, as I told myself if I was going to play it I wasn't going to be pissed losing. You can't play that way, plus i pretty much won my way in with my PLO sessions that day.

Won't have much time to play the rest of the week as I have woman commitments and a two day basketball tournament to coach this weekend, probably will play a few tourneys on friday nite. Today is thirsty thursday and I am going out with friends and probably will be treating them to quite a few drinks to celebrate my wins.

  3. I can smell the triple crown.............too bad I won't be going after it!

Last Tuesday nite I got to play some tournaments that I normally don't, since I had wednesday off for my birthday casino trip. I ended up Playing the FTP "50-50" $55 buyin $50K gaurenteed. I started slow in that tournament, was right at starting stack level or a little more at the first break. I had a good second hour that kept me in the top 30% most of the next two hours. Then with 70 left I had a few key hands that put me into the chip lead which I did not give up until there were 12 left. Then this key hand came up: I was having some fun and talking it up with all the players as i had about 370k in chips and the next closest had 230k and then on down to 120K.

I get 96dd in the SB. second place chip leader makes it 40K to go (2500/5000 blinds) I like to try and play these hands when i have position and I feel that the raiser has a big pair. I called and see the beautiful flop of 7 8 10 for a flopped straight, although not the nuts, I had put the raiser on a premium pocket pair. He fires out at it very hard, I instantly go all in and he turns over JJ. Ofcourse the turn is a 9 giving him the best straight and knocking me down to 5th place with 12 left. I would have had such a commanding chip lead had that hand held I wouldn't have even had to try the rest of the way! But what fun would that be?

Well I chip back up stealing blinds and one nice resteal while everyone was worried about making the FT. When we finally got there I had moved back to second place. Final table played out kinda slow, and when we got to 4 left I was in fourth place. Then I got KK to hold up vs AK. And won a major pot with a nice value looking bet on a 8 9 J Q 2 board when i had AJ.

When I got heads up I finally got him all in with A9 vs my AK. my first veiw was an ugly 9 on the flop however a K was there as well and I took down my first big tournament for $9678. It was a great feeling and barely got any sleep before I got up and headed to the casino with my dad, but I sure didn't care that I was tired.

Saturday I played a few more MTT's and started chipping up in the Stars 2pm $5.50 turbo mtt. I always like to play that cuz its just for fun and goes fast. Well I kept winning all my coin flips and made it the final table. Won every hand that I was ahead on and ended up calling the last guys shove with a nice AA vs his 22 FTW! Another win on a second site in 4 days! another nice cash of $2782!

I will def. be staking some OT'ers this week in somthing to give back for my good luck!
