25NL 6-8 Tabling

I've been doing a lot of 6 tabling and decided to try a little 8 tabling while cascading the windows then went back to using the tiles. Man I'm no expert at that, but I managed 8bb/100. Ryan Daut's playing 20 tables at 1/2 which is something to watch.
Cut into the profit a few times the last few nights with some bluffs attempted while a flush was on the board. Did that even after having put a big sign on my monitor saying "NO BLuffing. Back to PT3, tried HEM and its a good program thought I was going that route but I changed my mind.
Somebody mentioned that P5s was like stirring a ANTHILL -ha, I don't think anyone could have used a single word to define it any better. P5ers bring out alot emotion on both sides of most any issue.
KJs - that hand is so hard to let go of when a King is on a rainbow board, I played it and got caught up a little to much in the hand, villian shows AK and takes down a mediocre sized pot.
Had a hand of interest the night before where I had a set of 3s on the flop, I bet preflop, close to pot on flop and then opponent bet 2/3 pot on turn when the flush came. I tossed the hand because my gut told me I was beat. After giving some more thought today I think it was a mandatory call there. 30% chance to hit fullhouse, odds were there to call. Bad Fold.
One of these days I gotta start looking into rakeback. UB is throwing the offer out there to me, I have not been back to the site since all the scandals started. I don't care what anybody says Hevad Khan was a riot to see on the 2007 wsop, they ruined it by making a rule to calm him down. Bullllldozzzzzzzzzer arrrggghh. Oh yeah I watch all the Honeymooners episodes thats good stuff.
AC/DCs playing DC on Nov 15! Can't wait. GL at the tables.

    1. Yea man I agree that you gotta call with the set on that turn. If you fill up you win a HUGE pot, and if he is bluffing you win anyway... he might not have the heart to fire again at the river.
    2. thanks for the reply dude
    3. I enjoyed reading your blogs...We sound like very similar players. I was curious, are you more of a math guy or a thinker or both? For me, I'm more of a thinker; I only rely on the math when I’m in a tight situation. I'm trying to make the math portion of poker a part of my daily grind. I also have trouble leaving a table when I'm getting beat. At the end of October I took some really bad beats (most of which were probably my fault) and my bankroll suffered immensely. At the time I just started to use PT3, and was finding it very helpful. It was nice to see the holes in my game; but at the same time I was still learning the software. I'm getting better but I still am struggling with some of the features. I can only 4 table due to my screen size and I’m getting 2bb/100. Just like you I can only tile and do not feel comfortable cascading.

I hope you don't mind but i wanted to ask you some questions. How long have you been profiting from this and is this your primary job? How many hours do spend a week playing? When you use a stop loss of 10 at table are you refering to dollars or BB? Also, when I am looking for table I look for either an extremly tight table or an extremly loose table. Is this something that you do or do look for a certain type of table every time?
    4. I'm kind of learning as I go and the blog helps me to review my play. I play after work and managed to get iron man bronze status last month. Running about 7 bb/100. I can 6 table using tile squeezing them all small as possible, about 3 wide on the top and bottom so that I can see my cards each table. I'm more of a thinking player while playing but I do try and look over the play afterwords and check the odds/math. Don't bluff at this level, don't play long sessions(something like 1 hour or less call it a set) take time off play another set. PT3 is great for marking players with a color on ftp tight, loose, cardrunners members, etc..

ABC poker is where its at. Big bluffs is not what I would do at 25NL, that alone has cost me a ton of profit. If it becomes personal vs another player quit immediately.
