  1. so like im on this mission to turn the 4$ I had on full tilt into 10k.

I shipped another tourney! Were up to 2700ish! Next goal get to 5k in the next 2 weeks!

And to double the roll over the october month and reach the goal. I think I can!

  2. Yay I finally shipped one of them silly super turbos I been playing. Played like 15-20 of them and didnt cash once, then yesterday I shipped the 6$ super turbo KO for 900.

We werent running so good so this is a nice push back up towards the goal.

The roll is at about 1425, minus 100$ I put on pokerstars to play some micros over there, so our effect bankroll is about 1325$ up from 4 dollars!

I think I can I think I can.... Its tough waiting for YOUR day to run good and it happens so rarely, but it sure feels good. Ive managed to learn how to lose without going nutso, which should help me become a better player so I can hopefully move up the ranks in the coming months. Watch out biotches.

  3. Current roll 480$

Ive been playing poker for over 5 years. Ive probably taken longer periods of time off from the game than some of the top players have even played. Its sad really that Ive only binked a few sizeable wins, barely big enough to make me a winning player over the period of time Ive been playing.

I recently took about 10 months off from poker, and Ive taken an entire year off before but I always come back for fun mostly and because I always thought I could win. Little did I know how bad I was.

Well recently Ive been lucky enough to have my 1,000th poker epiphany and realized how key patience is in MTTs and poker in general. So I decided to take a shot again and began playing some 3$ sngs.

I opened the software and downloaded the updates to see 4$ in my full tilt account and promtply opened a 90 man 3.30 KO sng with a new patience for picking my spots. I managed to take 2nd in the first one I played and it put me in the mindset to keep playing well, and I did continuing to grind those same games winning one soon after. Ove the next 6 days I could do no wrong. I began mutli tabling the ko sngs and killing them, switching over to super turbos and continuing to dominate. I was up to about 300$ when I decided I was playing well enough to take a shot in a 24$ MTT.

Had I not clashed with the chipleader in a pot at the final table trying to hit a straight with 8 outs (and not shoving) I gave up a lot of chips, then took a few bad beats and was out in 5th for 711$

It still felt like such a huge victory having gotten so far with my new found patience.

But variance reared its ugly head soon after. The games I was griding for steady profit turned on me and I began losing. Had some close calls to some decent scores but of course got unlucky at the end in crucial hands, and like worm said "I caught a stretch of cards you fucking read about." Losing kings like 4 times to AK in big pots and a whole mess of people catching up with underpairs. Its been brutal.

Ive grinded about 600 games in the last 10 days on my mission to build a sizeable bankroll from the bottom and have seen the ups and downs over just that small one week sample and this is definitely the worst run so far, but I continue to try and keep a level head and do this, because going broke again will really hurt my confidence and game in general. Poker is hard work, as Im sure everyone here knows. I no longer feel like that win is around the corner after 3 or 4 horrific days and its definitely scary.

Anyways this is my mission. While $10,000 is not a lot of money for most people here If I can grind up to that from the 4$ I began with it will give me the confidence that maybe perhaps I can do this, and become a winning MTT player. Currently at $480 and scared shitless of going broke It def wont be easy, but I hope to accomplish this feat in the next few months, to prove to myself I should continue playing this hellish and painful game.

You might see me grinding out low limit SNGS/MTTs on full tilt or pokerstars. Good luck to you, just not when youre in a pot with me. I dont need to be wishing my opponents any more luck. Not right now.
