Taking Poker Serious for the First Time

For years I've managed to not take this game I love very seriously. I've played drunk at casinos, destroyed all table image I had by being an ass, lost all profits by playing outside my bankroll, built up great bankrolls online and playing in games I had no business playing in just to see my roll go to zero. I've done all the things a degenerate gambler would do just because I didn't care. I didn't care if I won or lost, until the next day that is.

The thing is, I am a good player. I read people and cards very well (live and online) and usually get my money in with the best hand. That is why today I mark the begininng of a new chapter in my poker game.

No longer will I play outside my bankroll. No longer will I donk away chips trying to bluff. No longer will I drink while I play. No longer will I do the things that have kept me from doing this for a living.

These are things that have kept me from being a great player. So today I will take my play seriously, truly for the first time. I am starting from scratch, literally.

    1. You have a better chance profiting as a decent player who plays sober and within his bankroll then an elite player whos drunk playing outside his bankroll. Good Luck bud.
    2. gl bro....stick to it....keep all those goals in mind each session!!!
