I made my backer happy. But now what?

So a quick recap, I was awarded a $55 round two stake on PTP. The instructions are to play 100 games at the 1.10 45 man's, 2.20 90 man and mtt's at 2.20 and lower. After 49 games I was up roughly $50 in profit.

Last night I went over the 50 game mark and game #50 was the 2.20 5k guarantee that started at 10:00 PM CST. There were 2,573 runners and I played until 5:30 am CST. I entered the FT 5 of 9 but quickly took first when my AK held over AQ. From that point on I steamrolled the competition and took it down for $815.02.

I'm really excited about my game of late. My stats look great and I'm making a lot more good decisions than poor ones. So why am I making this blog? My backer is quite pleased and wants to close out the current stake and move on to round 3. Round 3 would consist of a a stake of $110 and the games would be at the 2.20 and 4.40 levels, his % stays the same @ 55%. I feel good about the stake and I'm thinking about accepting but someone else now wants a piece.

I made a friend when playing at AP and we keep in touch all the time on IM. We watch each others play and discuss hands. Nothing fishy. He is a bit older and wants to invest some. He wants to start off with a smallish $55 stake on AP with the possibility of more. However, he only wants 40%. Obviously, this is much better for me and I also wouldn't have to pay PTP their rake. I'm just not sure about playing at AP again, as my # on stars are far superior. Plus building a solid rep on PTP is a smart long term decision. Any Advice?

    1. play with your own $ and keep erythin

    2. Definitely just play with your own money. From the sound of things you are pretty confident in beating those levels, so it doesn't make much sense to play backed. Unless you don't feel comfortable losing that amount of money then play on your own.
    3. Seriously play with your own money. Being backed for $50 is stupid.
    4. Thanks for the advice. I've decided to finish up the series, about 30 more games and then try to continue playing low stakes on my own dime. My roll is over $400; so I am properly rolled for the lower games. I will sometimes mix in 4.40's and the occasional satty to take a shot.

More blogs to follow. I appreciate that you take the time to read and comment.
    5. Get back to OT imo; you are a lawyer aren't you? WTF is with $50 stakes

    6. I only play on Tilt but this thing about the sites being easier/harder is bs. I guess it's possible for players to be worse then the 3.30's on 90's but they'd have to be blind. Can't you play both?
