Played well, Ran "meh," bricked session

I don't have any HHs unfortunately as I just purchased a new computer that I am excited about. My new set-up is pretty nice and I am pleased with it. Anyways, all I have is a short summary.

These are the types of days grinders have to A) be accustomed to and B) truly analyze. I dropped about 35 ABIs today of $30 and roughly 1k. I feel like in a nutshell I played well aside from a few spots I admittedly spazzed, and ran alright. It is just a day I have to chalk up to variance, albeit a strange day of variance, as I really didn't run terrible, but on the contrary probably ran decently well. Unfortunately the three tournaments I amassed huge stacks in and pushed deep were small BI, massive field tourneys, all having over 3000 runners. The fact is, you have to run amazing and play just as well to take one of those down, and I just didn't quite run well enough. Honestly, had the stacks been amassed in smaller field, higher BI tourneys, it could have maybe been a nice day. As I said, strange variance.

The fact is, as an MTT grinder we have to be used to all kinds of variance, not just your standard running well or running poor. Any one of an infinite amount of variables decide whether your day is madly profitable or extremely disappointing. That is fine, we just have to accept that day to day, many of those variables are out of our control and continue to make the correct play at the correct time. These are the things we must remind ourselves, while also being honest on grading ourselves for the day. I probably played my "B" game to no fruition, which in itself is sort of a let down. I would prefer to play my "A" game every time out, and I intend to work on that.

**Goal Update**

The last goal of designing a bad ass avy is almost complete. I designed one I really love but it was unfortunately not accepted by Stars. It was in no way inappropriate, but I understand their reasoning. I am going to try and load it into the blog here in a bit so we will see.

Thanks for reading. GL at the tables.
